We went black to Kara's and she and I changed into our outfits. Alex apparently chose the dress, a platinum one that despite my height, makes it to the floor and I let Kara do my hair. I take a breath and look at myself in the mirror. I'm reminded of all the times I had to attend to royal duties as a princess. It always felt weird. Like now wearing this dress. At least my silver bracelets blend with the dress. If anyone asked, I'd say I was giving it a Amazon look. Wink.

"I'm ready when you are." I call out.
"Give me a minute." Kara calls back.
I lean back on the couch and close my eyes for a few moments when a knock surprises me out of my comfortable spot. I sigh loudly when there's another knock.
"Coming!" I yell.
I open it to find Alex in a jaw dropping black dress that fits her curves perfectly with a v-neck that is sending my imagination soaring. No one else could tell that she was in slight pain with the heels she had on. Well unless you're used to staring to such a beauty. Unfortunately I'm creating a habit.
"You're staring." She breaks the silence.

"Is Kara ready?" Alex asks and I shake my head.
I don't trust the words that might come out. Alex turns around to go further in the apartment and I take a quick glance again before closing the door and walking out to the patio.
"Where is Cassie?" I hear inside.
"Out there. Is she ok?" I hear from Alex.
I don't hear another noise until a set of heels get louder until they're right behind me.
"How is it every time I walk away and Alex is in the room, you're out here?" I hear from behind me.
I turn around to see Kara in a emerald green dress with her hair pinned up and her signature glasses. She was in her Kara Danvers, shy little girl disguise but I don't buy it. Especially with a dress that seemed pretty tight. Damn these Danvers sisters..
