"What's on your mind, Bella?" Ella jumped on the counter of the sink, she swung her legs.
Bella didn't know how to break it down to her. Bella appreciated Ella's effort to give her a good time, but she couldn't really be happy. Not while she knew he existed and if Ella existed then he existed and it only hurt her more.
"I want to go back to Forks, Ella."
Ella furrowed her eyebrows and searched for a reason in Bella's mind and she knew it was because she wasn't really up to doing anything. She was still in her catatonic state.
"Are you sure, Bella?"
Bella nodded. Ella gave her cousin a sweet smile. "Alrighty, then. But, can I ask for one favor?"
"Sure."
"I have to do three really important things before the shooting for the music videos start, will you come with me?"
"Yeah, I'll go with you. I should go pack." Bella said, she past Ella. Ella sat on the counter and thought of the tasks she had to do, well she didn't had to but she needed to do in order to move on.
{First Task}
Ella parked in front of her old house in Long Beach, California. It still looked the same and so did the neighborhood around it.
Bella looked at the graffiti and scrunched her nose. She could hear the sirens in the distance and couldn't imagine her Aunt and Uncle living in a place like this.
"Maria liked to play soccer and I used to take her to the park down the block..." Ella looked at her front yard and remembered. "Sometimes, I would play with her and play in the front yard. She was good for a five year old. I'm sure she would've done great in school, she was the smartest in her class, and she went in already knowing how to read."
Bella noticed the change of tone in Ella's voice and felt bad for her. Bella would never understand how it feels to actually lose someone, like a parent or a sister. Not just that, but have watched them die and have no control.
"I was raped." Ella blurted out and Bella widen her eyes in shock.
"What?" Bella asked, still in shock.
"James... on the night of the attack... he first raped me and then bit me."
"What... um..."
"And then again when he kidnapped me... if it wasn't for... them James would've turned me. He thought my blood sang to him." Ella laughed at the end.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
Ella shrugged.
"I was ashamed, I guess."
Ella opened the door of Brian's car, it was a regular car, she didn't want to bring something someone would steal.
Bella got out and followed Ella towards the house. There was a realtor's add that got graffiti on already.
When Ella reached the door, she bent down and on the dirt pad next to her she dug and took out a spare key of the house. She remembered using it countless of times when she got home and realized she had forgotten her keys or that she was too high or drunk to get hers.
She slipped the key in and turned it. The door opened. Nothing but the sound of sirens, again. Ella took a single step inside and felt the memories rush to her. She gulped and Bella was right behind her.
"Are you here for something?"
Ella nodded.
She was at the top of the stairs in half a second; she walked to the right of the hall and finds her little sister's room.
