Edward thought it was too rash to just have a wedding in Vegas, plus Alice had already started the preparations and Ella didn’t want to hurt her feelings, also because deep inside Ella wanted a wedding too.

She wanted to walk down some kind of an aisle and see Edward wait for her with a big smile on his face at the end; she wanted to be surrounded by her family and friends. She wanted to wear that white dress.

After a romantic dinner Edward blindfolded Ella again and he scooped her off her feet Ella hooked her arms around his neck to feel more secure.

She wondered how she could ever think of being with someone else. Edward was everything she ever wanted. He was kind, understanding and mostly patient. Could any other guy handle the drama she’s had in the past year? No, only Edward could.

She was brought back to reality when Edward dropped her to her feet.

“Are you ready, love?” Edward whispered sending all kinds of shivers down her spine.

“Y-yes.” She said in a shaky breath. She smiled at how every time Edward touched her it was as if it was the first time he ever touched her and the butterflies fluttered like crazy.

“It’s something from the entire family.” He continued to whisper and it was hypnotic, something hypnotic and a melody.

He unfolded the bandana and revealed the family’s present. Ella gasped and jumped in joy. It was a 1975 Mustang Ford. It was beautiful because the color was a dark blue and it was in good condition.

She twirled around to see Edward. He had the keys in the air.

“Oh, my goodness, Eddie, I fucking love it, it’s so fucking beautiful.” She beamed and kissed him. As she moved she felt the ring on her left finger and deepened the kiss. Nothing could separate them now. “Let’s see how primal you can get.” Ella smirked mischievously and growled.

“Hmm, with those sounds you’re just getting me started.”

“Seems like a long way back to your place.” Ella said starting to unbutton his shirt. “We do have some space.” She nudged her head to the backseats of the car.

“As much as I’d like to, we don’t want to break it before you get to drive it do you?” His eyes glistened in mischief.

Ella grinned. “Where do you propose we go? Or… not go?” Ella kissed him again and it was no holding them back.

They broke about two trees before Edward and Ella made it to the cabin. In the room furniture was broken and blood.

Edward wiped the little blood from his mouth. Her blood was so delicious and he couldn’t believe he had enough control to actually stop. When he drank from Ella he felt closer and closer to her.

Her head was on his chest.

“Esme is not going to be happy about this.” Edward sighed.

“Hey, look at it this way; it gives them an excuse to go shopping.”

Edward laughed and kissed the top of her head.

There was a silence. A comfortable silence. They were just enjoying each other’s company.

“Edward?” Ella broke the silence.

“Yes?” He asked.

Ella wasn’t sure how to ask him.

“So, can um… uh…” Ella chuckled as she thought of her question.

“What is it?”

“Can vampires have babies? At all?” Ella blurted out. She felt his body stiffen under her own body. They shifted so they could look into each other’s eyes. “What?” She asked after his long silence.
