Alice couldn't believe it either. Her best friend was a member of the Volturi. They were never planning to kill her. From the beginning they wanted to see her powers and after witnessing it they made their final decision. She was still half human, but not for long.

They planned to complete her transformation the day after tomorrow on a Full Moon. Edward knew of the plan as well, from their minds. He wanted to rip them to shreds.

"Edward, a pleasure to finally meet you." Aro spoke bringing everyone out of their thoughts.

Ella looked with an unreadable expression. Drake's arm around her waist bothered Edward.

[Why did he let this happen?] Edward thought in frustration. [If Drake had tried to save her, why wasn't he doing it now?]

Edward knew that Chelsea and Alec made Ella that way. Her pale face looked so unreal. Her red eyes glowed with so much emotion she wasn't expressing.

Aro stepped up and offered his hand to Edward in a hand shake. Edward being aware of Aro's gift hesitated but nonetheless took Aro's hand.

Aro immediately got all of Edward's thoughts. Mostly were about Ella. Aro heard Edward's thoughts when he first met Ella and when he finally realized he loved her with all his might. He also got the thoughts of being inside of Ella, the first time in the forest on Bella's birthday and the second in his bedroom where he drank her blood and nothing happened.

Aro pulled out his hand with a grin on his face. He was also able to see when he witnesses Ella makes Victoria's head explode with just her mind. Not to mention Devi, her double personality.

Drake felt like a failure. He was supposed to protect Ella to get her away from here, but now that he had her with him he wanted her to stay. One side told him that she should stay but the other side told him this was wrong, that it was selfish of him to make her stay. But, God only knew how much he missed her and being with her he didn't mind being a little selfish.

"I see you have come for Ella." Aro turned his back to the Cullen's.

"She does not belong here, Aro." Carlisle spoke up for the first time.

Aro and his companions looked at Carlisle.

"I'm surprised you kept this big secret to yourself Carlisle. She is half human, she eats and sleeps yet she has the thirst of a regular vampire." Caius spoke. "Not to mention her powers. Mind reading, telekinesis and exploding heads. She is powerful."

"She needs to have a choice." Edward spoke with hatred. He knew he had to speak calmly but he just couldn't, desperation was running through his body.

"She did make her choice." Aro spoke.

"No, you broke any bond between me and her." Edward retorted ready to strike anyone who provoked him. "She made no choice of her own."

Aro looked at Edward. He snapped his fingers and Ella started to walk towards them. She showed no emotion during the heated conversation. Ella was at Aro's side after excruciating seconds to Edward.

"Tell them your decision, my dear." Aro whispered to her.

Ella nodded. "I'm staying, I'm staying with Drake, and I love him."

A huge amount of pain went through Edward's body and mind.

[Tell me you want to come with us, Ella.] He spoke to her in his mind.
