Cold was I could feel, cold and loneliness. Everything was black or it could have been that I had my eyes closed, but didn't want to open them it was like my body refused to. Until I could open my eyes, I just breathed. The area around me had no sent it was like I was in nothingness. I grew tired and so my eyes opened. I didn't know where I was and I was scarred, I didn't want to move but the rumble in my stomach and my dry mouth told me to go find food and water. I scuttled towards the pond surrounding me and took a drink from it. The water was sweet like berries it was subtle but there.

I sat on the island that fit my size so well. I rested my body for a minuet then the rumbling sound started again. I looked at my stomach "Fine I'll get food" I complained "but where?" I craned my head all over to see if there was anything to eat. Suddenly the water fall behind me open up like a curtain to a show revealing a tunnel. A gust of warm air blew through from the other side, and so...I followed. I made my way through the narrow cave making sure I didn't step on anything.

When I squeezed my out of the exit, I was in awe to find a valley. The smell of water sprays and flowers filled the air and there were mountains, trees and water falls as far as I could see. I wondered the grassy land for a while when I caught the waft of...barbeque? Sure enough I looked off in to the distance and I see someone cooking over a fire, my stomach acted before my legs did and moved me forward towards the barbeque.

I walked for what seemed forever but in reality it was only five...I was really hungry. Finally, like a man who reached a oasis in the dessert I made it to the fire "uhh..hello? Are you cooking?" I asked, the person who was cooking turned around and to my surprise it was a boy around my age "yeah...what about it" the boy responded "well...um" before I got the chance to respond my belly did it for by growling. I was embarrassed and I nervously laughed trying to hide the fact the my stomach tried to ask for a hunk of meat. He turned back to fire tending to the meat, great now he is ignoring me thanks a lot stupid belly, suddenly he turned back around and handed me a few slivers of jerky and a boiled potato, my eyes lit up like it was Christmas "Thank you...uh" I didn't know his name "Shei, Shei Yung" he responded, he's Korean?

I sat down next to him eating my meal in silence without trying to bother him but he seemed pleased about something. He looked over "y'know I'm glad someone is actually around I was thinking I was alone for a moment" he smiled "I'm glad you were around to feed me" I jested, he laughed at that. "OH! I didn't tell you my name" I realized "Hi there, my name is...um...hmm...I knew it began with a V" I don't know my own name "It's okay I'll just call you Vee, does that sound good" I smiled "yeah it does"
