In The Eyes of Me

Chapter 4

The letter I got was odd and strange, I didn't know what to expect when I got there but for now I was just walking to the nearest stable to grab a carriage ride to the castle. As I was walking I noticed there were very few people out at the moment and those who were out were very suspicious and kept staring me down, suddenly I felt like I was being followed so I sped up my pace a bit but still the feeling was there it was even stronger then before, I broke out into a run and dashed ahead to the stables. I could tell I was running pretty fast I could only here my own heart beat at the moment. Up ahead I could see it the stables, the sound of the adrenalin filling my ears and the uneasy feeling was still there. At last I was there, I had to stop my self on one of the carriages, I slammed myself against it "whoa, there missy what's the rush" I looked up it was the driver of the carriage I just assaulted with my body.

"how much for a ride to the castle?!"

"w-what...?"

 "how much!?"

"well I guess...ten jewels"

Jewels is the currency in this world. I fished around in my pockets and pulled the amount he called for and placed the silver coins in his hand "hop in" the driver said. I jumped in to the back of the carriage and the carriage rolled on.

We were near by I could tell, there were people dressed in nice cloths not in the villagers garb I saw before. we pulled into the stables and I got off. What I looked at was a high class town with rich people walking around. The lights were dazzling, the shone bright through the night. I snapped back to reality, I was getting off track. This place was like a drug, all you wanted to do was just stare at the lights and people but I had something to do so I need to move on. I walked forward to the castle that sat upon the hill ahead.

As I walked through the town the feeling of wanting to stay filled me even more but I can't just stay here for the rest of my life, but not now. I had to get away from the addicting feeling of this town, so like before I ran, I ran down the town street faster then I did before. The feeling got stronger and stronger and stronger then...it stopped.

I looked up and saw two large beautiful gate doors. Two guards stood outside of these doors, they were stiff and tall and noble, they looked like they couldn't be knocked over at all but I had to get past them. I approached the two guards and when I did they crossed their spears together and said "state your porpoise" they said bluntly, I gained all of my confidence for a response "I have called upon by the princess, here I have the letter as proof" I held up the piece of parchment to one of the guards and they looked closely at the letter "you may enter" they opened the way for me, I nodded and went in.

As I walked in I couldn't help but be in captured by the beautiful amethyst room. But my sight seeing was put to a halt when a man in a nice dapper suit with slick back hair and dark eyes "this way malady" he gestured me towards the room up a head. I walked into a large hall way with large pillars on both sides of the room, up ahead was another pair of doors, they looked so small from where I was standing.

Suddenly the doors opened revealing a beautiful woman with an eye patch and a prosthetic leg she had long  dark hair, she held a cane in her hand. I walked to the middle of the room to meet her. Once we were in the middle she held out her hand to shake mine, I shook her hand "Hello darling, it is so nice to finally meet you, I am so glad you came on such short notice especially in the middle of the night" she said "uh...no the pleasure is all mine" I bowed to her, I don't know why I was bowing to a figment of my imagination. As a matter a fact I wasn't doing this on my own, something compelled me to do it.
