The light that once was so warm and dim turned dark and cold. We decided it was best not to stick around for much longer. I helped Shei up and slung his arm round my shoulder and we walked towards the door. The whole castle had gone dark, no one or anything was in sight. The guard that were once there stiff as two boards were gone as well.

We walked down the path to the town. When we arrived I was shocked to find that the whole town that once hypnotized me into a trance was reduced to shambles. Broken pieces of wood and stone were found laid out all over the place like some sort of jigsaw puzzle. Support beams were found stood up but unfinished.

We kept walking through what was left of the town to the stables outside of town. The dust of the dirt that was once covered by stone pavement blew around the air cause Shei and I to cough on the way there.

A after the long walk to the stables we found that the man who driving the carriage had disappeared, he left behind the whip and the small bag of money he stored the money I gave him in. I know that it was a bad thing to do but I collected both items and put Shei in the back of the cart and hopped in the front. I cracked the whip at the horses, never knowing how to drive a carriage before. I had to bring home Shei to the Goddess's Din. There he would feel better faster and heal in peace.

I looked in the back of the cart, Shei had fallen asleep but the burse around his neck was still there. I had to get him home fast.

We were trailing down the hill to the village were we all started. Luckily it was still there unlike the other one. We were almost home we just had to pass through town. We were on the edge of town but the horse stopped. I was confused "Hey keep going, what are you doing? we have to be somewhere!" I shouted at the horse, it looked over to me and turned back and dug it's hoof in the ground "I get it you can't go any further then this" I hopped off and woke up Shei to put him on my back, he was slightly smaller then me "thank you for your help" I said to the horse before I ran to the field that was only lit up by the field.

We made it to the cave that led to what I called home. We walked through the small tunnel and reached the safe haven. I laid Shei on the patch of land to allow him to sleep. I was so tired, sleep would soon overcome me. I curled up laid next to Shei and also went to sleep. I had to get to the bottom of what was going on here but could wait till tomorrow.
