"Good morning Hawaii" I smiled, walking out of the sliding doors, placing my hands on my hips as i stared out at sun rise. I scrolled through spotify, finding a playlist i likes, pressing shuffle. The music began to play through the speakers as i placed my phone on the chair. I took in a deep breath, diving into the pool. I came up out the water, running my hands over the top of my hair, pushing it back. I floated over to the side of the pool, leaning my arms on the side of the pool. I rested my head on my arms, watching as the sun slowly rises. I lifted my head, pushing myself up slightly, looking out at the ocean. I smiled, falling back into the water, staring up at the cloudless sky.

"I'm jealous, I'm overzealous. When I'm down, I get real down. When I'm high, I don't come down. I get angry, baby, believe me. I could love you just like that and I could leave you just this fast" I hummed along to the music, standing myself up in the water once more. I was in such a trance between the music and the orange sky turning blue, i didn't hear the movement of the water behind me. I didn't even flinch as a pair of arms made their way around my waist. I closed my eye with a smile as a pair of lips softly placed a kiss on my cheek. "Good morning beautiful" Louis whispered, resting his chin on my shoulder. "Good morning gorgeous" I whispered, opening my eyes again.

"Can we just stay here all day? I just wanna sunbath and swim all day, with you by my side" Louis smiled, pushing himself out of the pool. "That sounds like the perfect plan. We can explore tomorrow" I smiled, pulling myself into the inflatable donut. I lay back, closing my eyes as the sun warmed my skin. "'Cause I got issues but you got 'em too. So give 'em all to me and I'll give mine to you. Bask in the glory of all our problems, 'Cause we got the kind of love it takes to solve 'em" I sung, paddling my fingers in the pool. "Louis can we.." I lifted my head, stopping when i noticed Louis wasn't outside anymore.

"Gorgeous?" I pulled the towel around me, making my way into the house. "Louis?" I yelled, making my way up the stairs. I frowned as i made my way back down the stairs, walking into the kitchen. I picked up the note that lay on the counter.

Gone to pick up some food.

Be back soon.

Love you,

L x

I half smiled, pulling my knotted, half wet hair, into a messy ponytail. I dropped the towel to the ground, kicking it across the room. I grabbed a glass, filling it with the raspberry iced tea we'd filled the water dispenser on the fridge with. I slid my sunglasses onto my face, making my way back outside into the sun. "Hawaii, my love. I can't get over how perfect you are" I mumbled, laying down on the deck chair.

"I'm back" Louis' voice echoed through the house. "That took you forever. You were gone for like three hours" I yelled back, placing my sunglasses on the table beside where i sat. I stood up, making my way into the house, walking over to Louis. "Yeah, i know bub, i'm sorry. I was walking around the shops for a very long time trying to find everything" He smiled, placing a soft kiss to my forehead. "Go outside, have a swim. I'm gunna get lunch ready. Got a surprise" Louis winked, slightly nudging me towards the doors.

I ran, diving into the pool. Once i reached the surface, i lay on my back, gently paddling my arms in the water. I dove to the bottom of the pool, opening my eyes as i sat on the bottom. This was the most peaceful place i knew. I stayed down as long as i could hold my breath, placing my feet on the bottom of the pool before pushing myself up out of the water.

"105 is the number that comes to my head, when I think of all the years I wanna be with you. Wake up every morning with you in my bed, that's precisely what I plan to do" The music filled my ears as i reached the surface. I wiped my face, opening my eyes. I saw over to the side, pushing myself up out of the pool. I looked down at the ground confused, a path of rose petals leading into the house. "Gorgeous?" I yelled, drying myself off.

"And you know one of these days when I get my money right, buy you everything and show you all the finer things in life. Will forever be enough, so there ain't no need to rush, but one day, I won't be able to ask you loud enough" I slowly followed the petals making my way through the house. "Lou?" I yelled, slowly making my way up the stairs. No reply. A confused looked fell on my face as i made my way into the bedroom. Louis stood on the balcony, his back towards me, looking out over Hawaii. "Bub, what's going on?" I asked, stepping onto the balcony, Louis pausing the music.

"We've been together almost 9 months, did you know that?" He asked, turning his head slightly. "We've been in each others lives for almost five years" He turned to look at me, a small smile on his face. "And I've loved you the entire time" He leaned on the railing, holding out his hands for me to grab. "What's going on?" I placed my hands in his, taking a step towards him. Louis took in a deep breath, slowly dropping down to one knee, i let out a small gasp, the music beginning to play once more, Louis singing along.

"I'll say will you marry me, I swear that I will mean it, I'll say will you marry me" He reached into his back pocket, pulling out a small navy blue velvet box. I placed my hands over my mouth, my eyes began to water as he slowly opened the box. Inside sat a a thin banded blue opal ring. The band engraved with what looked like vines, a small crown surrounded the blue opal. "Lou" I half smiled. He took the ring out the box, holding it up to me, "So will you? Marry me?".
