Chapter 10

I woke up slightly cold. I snuggled colder to the body next to me. "Clare your hogging the covers again." I mumbled. I felt them laughing.

"I'm not Clare." I heard a male chuckle. I shot up eyes wide looking around. I was laying in the back of a truck in the middle of the field. I laid back down as everything came back to me. 

"Sorry, I'm use to her sneaking in my room and stealing my covers." I said feeling uncomfortable.

"Hey it's fine." He said gently. "I should get you home you probably have tons of Alpha stuff to do plus we have school." I looked at his disappointed face as he crawled out of the truck.

" We can skip if you want.." I found myself speaking before I could process the words.He looked as if he was debating something when my stomach growled. I frowned at it. I hate my tummy it always growls at the worse time. 

"Come on I guess your a bad influence on me." He chuckled.

"How so?"

"I can't let my mate starve herself now can I?" I smiled nervously. As I hopped into the car I messaged everyone about my absence and to take notes. 

'Don't forget our meeting with Alpha Grayson and Alpha Dobbs today' Mikey and Eric reminded me. I cursed under my breathe.

"What's wrong?" Ben said hopping in the drivers seat.

" After breakfast I need to run to the pack house and change. I forgot about a meeting I have with an arrogant Alpha and his Alpha lap dog." I groaned. I looked to see his face sadden a little. "It shouldn't take long my other meetings normally take a few hours. This one never takes more then an hour I have to kick them out before me or Mikey attacks him. Then we can go where ever." I shrugged.I notice he had a grin on his face again.

"Can I come with you?" It took me a second to understand what he was asking.

"To the meeting?" I asked slowly having a bad feeling about it.

"Yea."

" Normally only Alphas Betas and Thirds are allowed but every once in a while others are allowed to join." I said thinking about it. "So I guess I don't see the problem." I spoke this frowning because I felt like I was forgetting something important. We picked up food through a drive thru and he took me straight home so I can shower and change. I had one of the males there help him get ready as well. Ten minutes before the meeting Ben was waiting in my room and Mikey walked in to escort me.

"Hey Tor Tor I see you haven't mated yet." Mikey breezily said. I blushed.

"Shut up Mikey. We got to handle Grayson." He nodded and kept quiet for once when Ben stood up to follow he lifted his eyebrow in question." You sure that's a good idea?" He asked hesitantly. I just shrugged and continued down the hall. Mikey kept fidgeting which was irritating me. It wasn't til I saw Eric and Trevor that I figured out why.

"Hey what's going on?" Trevor asked looking at Ben.

" Yea is there a change of plans or something." I was frozen. I couldn't answer their questions. How could I forget as far as the world knows I have a fake mate. How could I forget Grayson would take that as an opportunity to either blackmail me or strike. 

"Luna! Luna Silver!" Mikey spoke to inform me we had guests present. 

"Lun.."Ben was interrupted by Mikeys elbow. I quickly looked around to see Alpha Graysons Beta opening up the door. 

"Ben can you go get me some water I think I feel a little light headed." I spoke frantically. I saw him take off and quickly turned to Eric. "Eric let's rush this meeting along. I don't feel so well." He nodded in understanding. 'Keep Ben distracted.' I sent through my pack links for anyone to hear.
