Katniss' POV -

"Look, we just need to find a polite way to tell her that Gale is no good for her. All he's going to do is keep breaking her heart, and they're not even together." I heard Cato sigh to the others as they sat around in the living room.

Clove was cuddled into Cato and he had has arm wrapped around her protectively, Glimmer was taking up the entire sofa so there was no room for anyone else, Marvel and Peeta were sitting at the table with their head in their hands and Johanna was occupying the chair nearest the window.

I had only gone to get changed out of the clothes I wore to the party and they were already finding the time to talk about me while I was gone.

"Maybe you could just leave the two of them alone and let them sort it out for themselves?" Peeta suggested, and that souned like a good idea to me because they needed to stop sticking their noses on where they weren't even wanted.

"You've not been here long enough to understand the situation. Katniss deserves so much better than him in her life." Glimmer stated.

"But, just speaking my mind here, don't you think she's only going to get more annoyed with you if you keep trying to tell her what to do and keep telling her that you want rid off Gale?" Peeta replied.

"Is there something you know that we don't?" Clove asked Peeta, but there wasn't anything that he did know which they didn't.

He was just making his own assumptions from what I had told him, and how he had seen me acting around the others whenever they started going on about how Gale was awful for me and I needed to remove the problems from my life in order to be happy.

"No. I'm just saying that, if you keep trying to control her life, then you're only going to end up pushing her away from you and she's only going to hate you in the end." Peeta replied, much to the shock of the others who were all looking at him with their mouths wide open.

"You know, I think there is more to you and Katniss than you both want to actually tell us." Marvel spoke with a suspicious look, and that's when I decided to walk into the room and pretend to act like I had heard nothing and I was completely unaware of everything that had just happened.

"More to me and who than we want to tell you?" I asked with a grin on my face, pushing Glimmer's feet off the sofa so I could sit at the end and join in with whatever they were planning on doing.

"You and Peeta. You two seem to be so in sync with each other and are always sticking up for the other. It's a little suspicious." Johanna replied, all eyes now being on me as I continued to smile at each of them.

"Doesn't mean anything, just means we're good friends." I shrugged because it didn't mean anything to me and I didn't really care what they had to say to me either about our friendship.

"So, who wants to play a game then?" Cato asked after a couple of moments of awkward silence in which we all ended up sharing awkward seconds of eye contact with each other; although I did manage to give Peeta a smile as a small thank you for what he had done.

"How about truth or dare?" Johanna smirked, and we all simply agreed. "Katniss. Truth or dare?"

"Truth." I said without much enthusiasm.

"If you had to pick between Marvel, Cato and Peeta to go on a date with tomorrow afternoon. Who would you pick?" Glimmer asked with more excitement than was even normal for a person.

"Marvel. Known him the longest so it wouldn't end up being awkward." I answered with a smile because it wasn't the answer they thought I was going to give, which is why I picked it really.

Simply to prove a point that they don't really know me at all and they don't always know what's best for me either, so they should all just stop thinking that they do because it's only going to end badly for them.

"Glimmer. Truth or dare?" Johanna asked her.

"Dare."

"I dare you to go into school on Monday without having brushed your hair, no make-up and the worst clothes you can find in the back of your wardrobe." Johanna grinned mischeiviously and with a sense of having won something before it had even taken place.

"Fine. Easily done and I will still be the prettiest person in school." Glimmer smiled back at her.

AN:

Hi Tributes,

So, erm, I know this part is boring but it's just a filler part before I start some more of the drama with Peeta and Gale.

I hope you're ready for that drama because it's going to be awesome.

Let me know what you think, and give me a vote as well if you do like it.

Thanks a lot.
