"Yeah, that's all," said Fran. "Thank you."

"Of course, ma'am. You two have a nice night." the tall woman said. She walked out of the room and closed the door with a click.

"I think we're getting it pretty easy." said Nick. "I can't believe we're out of the city. I think this is all too sudden. You know? Like we were suppose to go through this long ass saga of survival before escaping New York."

"Oh well." Fran laughed. "I'm not going to argue. I'm just glad that man found us and patched you up, took us in and granted access for us on this, well, very depressing ship. It's great though. To be alive."

"Yeah. Even better when I'm alive with you." he chuckled and leaned in for a kiss.

"Yeah, yeah. Alright." Fran smiled as she kissed him. "I wonder if our friends are still alive. Don't you?"

"Yeah, I do. I wonder if they're safe. Hopefully out of the city."

Apprantly, when the rather nice gentleman gave them the option of staying in or helping out, who knew they were going to abuse it by staying in the entire time. The only time they leave their room was for food and showering. They were tired and sweaty, along with being sore and Tate being a little pale. They were happy at least.

Alex started gathering the clothes she was given into a bag that was already in the room along side with Tate. The boat was fixed and arrivied today, which meant a ride out of the dead city. Too bad, though. New York was everyone's "To Go" list before this infection started and now everyone in this city is most likely dead, hiding, taking it for their own, and so on. At least, you would think so in a zombie outbreak.

"So, where do you want to go?" Tate asked Alex. "After we leave the city, I mean."

"I don't think that's up to us. Like, you would think, since we're minors, they would put us with a foster family, right?" Alex explained to Tate. "I guess we could ask for a place to be put."

"Alright then." Tate said his thought aloud. "We'll ask later." He zipped up his bag and opened the door. "Let's go."

"Okay." Alex zipped up her bag and walked out of the sex smelling room with Tate, who closed the door on his way out.

As they walked out of the building, they have forgotten how it felt being outside and what fresh air smelt like. Although, it did smell like decay with all the dead people walking around, so they prefered the smell of sex than decay. Alex covered her nose at first to get used to the smell and Tate just took it all in but not without almost puking that is. A soldier called them along and everyone else who wanted to leave. A selected few decided to stay and help out any others who were found out in the city.

"Okay, let's go." said the soldier. He gathered everyone he can onto the boat and secured it, making sure it's status is great. "Okay," he slapped the back of the boat. "Go go!" The boat rushed out of there.

With water spalshing on the deck, the boat is lifted and is given a complete stop until the passengers are allowed to step off. Alex and Tate were the last ones off and were directed into the "Salvaged" room with the other survivors. Within the room, held other passengers, food, clean clothes, blankets and a walkie-talkie. Alex and Tate walk up to the table with a soldier planted behind it, handing out the suppiles.

"Here you go, guys." she said. "Are you guys all there is? No parents?"

"Um," Alex said. "Ye-ye-yeah. It's just us together. No, parents."
