After returning to my room and taking a well deserved shower, changing into a simple blouse and jeans, I descend the stairs to a rush of people entering the dinning room for dinner, all loud and rowdy with the news. Apparently, the news of the females winning the game spread like wildfire, setting the males and females alike ablaze with questions and theories. As I sifted through the crowd heading to the dining room I heard a few of these theories myself.

"It must have been rigged, there's no way a female would be able to find the flag." Said a short male with an obviously fake tan, turning his skin almost orange.

"Yeah, they must have had a fake flag on them and used that." The male's equally tanned and short friend agreed.

I rolled my eyes at the pair of jackasses and continued, eavesdropping on any and all conversations I could pick up over the general roar of people. My ears tuned into a conversation between three girls, all wearing overly large glasses, the one that talked first had a very obvious yet adorable lisp.

"Yeah, people say that Thistle took off from camp a little while prior to us winning. I heard that she found the flag on an intruder and beat the shit out of him then took it to the Lady Alpha." She said as she pushed her falling glasses back up her nose.

The other one turned to her and asked "What about the other flag? Wasn't it on that rank 2 girl?"

The first one shook her head "No, Thistle just pretended to put it on the girl then kept it for herself." At this I had to hold in a loud scoff to keep them from knowing I was listening.

"Well," whispered the third girl, as if it was a secret, "I have eye-witnesses who said that that Audri girl found it while she and her team were in male territory."

The second one raised her eyebrow in disbelief "Oh yeah, and what "eye-witness" would this be?"

"Uh I talked to a girl who was in Audri's team, she said that they had to split up because they were being pursued by some males and she saw Audri grab one of them, meaning she must have interrogated them and found the flag." The third said, as if it was obvious.

This little tid-bit of information got me a bit suspicious, Audri is not one for violence, I couldn't see her just grabbing someone and dragging them of for some torturous interrogation. I mean, they were obviously either lying to eachother or just very mal informed, so maybe it's just a bunch of bullshit. Hmmmm...I'll ask her about it later. As I continue through the group I get a few more theories, One of them states that an unnamed female had pickpocket the flag off one of the males before they even entered the forest. Another said that a group of girls went out a beat up every male they came across until they found the location of the flag. The funniest of them all said that a male had taken it to the female of his choice and presented it to her as a sign of love. Ha! It's so fictional it's comical! But of all the theories, the most disbelieved and skeptical of them all being a theory that a female had feigned injury to gain trust from a male holding the flag then manipulated him with her feminine charm to steal the flag from him.

I entered the dining hall and my eyes fell to the absolute segregation of the room, with all the males on one side, and all the females on the other, even if that meant some of them had to stand, the tension in the room was palpable. Shit, did I do that? God, is the fact that the females beating them really that bad that they have to throw such a temper tantrum? Jeez, men are such pussies. I found Audri among the sitting women and squeezed in beside her. "Hey."

"Hey." she sighed, her gleaming eyes and wistful disposition opposing the shadow of tight tension enclosing the usually happy space.

I give her a suspicious glare "You do realize the crushing atmosphere of hate in here, right?"
