On January 26, 2014, the 56th annual Grammy Awards took place. As a Swiftie, I am proud to say that our girl, Taylor Alison Swift, was nominated for 4 awards: Album of the Year (RED), Best Country Duo/Group Preformance (Highway Don't Care), Best Country Song (Begin Again), and Best Country Album (RED)! I remember when Taylor won her first, well first four Grammy Awards, she was only 18! As of January 25th, Taylor had won only 7 Grammy's, but tonight (January 26th) that changes! Taylor sadly didn't win anything at the Grammys, but her preformance of "All Too Well" was AMAZING!!!!!!! Taylor also looked absolutley GORGEOUS all night!!!! I also think that in her preformance she showed full emotion and her voice was so strong and pwerful, as always!
Yes, I know that Taylor sadly didn't win anything:(, but we all know that she worked extreemly hard on RED and won MANY very well deserved awards for in during 2013!!! And Taylor has her wonderdul 8 Grammy Awards at home, and she has the love and support of her family, her friends, her band, and of course us, her Swifties:). So, dedicated to Swifties and of course Miss Taylor Alison Swift, I'd like to say this:
Since Taylor was 16 years old she has been a magnificent role model and singer/song writer! She has changed milions, probibly more, of lives, including mine! I remember her winning the Pinnacle Award back in November, I cried for hours because I was so happy and proud of my girl and that she had just won the biggest award anyone could ever win in Country Music!!!! Not only has she done spectacular things in her music career, but she has also done much more. Taylor visits kids with Cancer every chance she gets, she Prays for us (her Swifties) every single night and has ever since she heard a Swiftie died in an accident during the Fearless tour back in 2009, she cried for days! And "Ronan", Taylor did NOT write that song for publicicty! She wrote it after she found a blog that Maya Thompson had created about him. Taylor was so upset! She wrote "Ronan" with a little help from Maya and with Maya's permission, Taylor preformed the heart breaking but beautiful song at Stand Up To Cancer 2012. Right after her spectacular but sad preformance of the song it became availible for purchase in iTunes and all proceeds went to St. Jude or to raise money to find a cure for Cancer! Taylor has donated so much money to charities for kids in need and even opened an education center in Nashville back in the fall so kids could get a good education and learn their musical ablities! Tonight Miss Swift has added to her collection of well deserved Grammy Awards and she now has of them. I am so insanely proud to be a Swiftie and that I have such an amazing role model! She is so inspiring and I can't thank the good Lord more than I have for having this path for Taylor's life and that in His plan for her, He has made it possible for her to change my life in ways even I can't explain! If it weren't for Taylor Alison Swift, I probibly wouldn't be as close with my Best Friend, I probibly wouldn't have hurdled again after twisting my tibia in March, the knee surgery would have been scarier for me, and I wouldn't be 100% ME!!! Be thankful for her because she is a true gift from God! And she is changing the World, and us, on magnificent song lyric at a time! Taylor Alison Swift, I am so PROUD of you and so thankful for a role model like you!!! Thank you!!!
