Chapter 6: A Dream Come True

"Hey Kris you know how we were going to start a band?" asked Shelby. "Yeah why?" I asked. "Well we should try harder. And see if the guys can help us." she said. "Yeah let's do it. I have been working on my song." I said.

A few minutes later I finished my song all the way and she found perfect notes for the guitar for it. We then decided to play/sing it. (I'm actually am writing a song right now I will put the lyrics in once its done its called be strong).

We finished the song and I heard whispering. So I tiptoed to the door and yelled "BITCHES GET AWAY FROM MY ROOM!!!" which scared them the fact that I just swung open the door and yelled at them. "Holy shit you sure know how to scare the shit out of people." said Ashley. "What do you guys want?" I asked. "We heard a guitar playing so we wanted to find out who it was. Then we heard you singing and Shelby playing the guitar. You are both amazing and who wrote that song?" Andy said. "I wrote it Shelby found out the notes for it." I said. "You should start a band." Ronnie quoted. "That's kinda the whole point." I said. "Have you figured out a name for your band?" Oli asked. "Yes." "What is it?" Vic asked. "Scarring Our Silhouettes." I said. "That's a really good name. I think I know who will sign you and make it official." said Oli. "Who?" Shelby asked. "The same record label that made our band official." he said. "Ok, Shelby we still need a drummer." I said. "I know someone who can play drums that wants to be in a band. Her name is Skye." said Andy. "Isn't she that girl you met at warped and kept in contact ever since?" asked CC. "Yes. I'll give her a call right now." he said. "Ok." we both said. He pulled out his phone and called her.

"Hi Skye it's Andy how are ya?"

"Pretty good so why did you call?"

"Well I got these two girls who need a drummer for their band so I was wondering if you would want to be their drummer?"

"Of course I do when do I meet them?"

"I'll come pick you up you live in London right?"

"Yeah I'll text you my address."

"Ok see you when I pick you up."

"Ok bye."

He hung up and put his phone back in his pocket. "Ok you got your drummer now. And I am going to pick her up right now." he said and then left to go pick up Skye. "I can't believe this is happening its like a dream come true." I said. Me and Shelby were hugging each other in joy. "Oh I called them and they said if they liked your music they will." said Oli. "Yay!" we both shrieked. "I'm so happy for you babe." Said Jack.

A few minutes later

"Ok I'm back and I brought Skye." said Andy as he walked in with a pretty girl with beautiful black hair, blue eyes, and she was about the same height as me. "Hi I'm Kristine I sing, and this is Shelby she plays guitar." I said very kindly. "I'm Skye would you like to see me play the drums?" she asked. "Sure." we went in the basement cause that's where me and Shelby have been practicing for a bit. "Ok here are the drumsticks and the drums are over there." I said. She grabbed the drumsticks out of my hands and sat behind the drum set. She played the song God Bless You by Black Veil Brides. "You are amazing. Would you like to be in our band scarring our silhouettes?" I asked. "Yes oh my god thank you so much." "Your welcome. We should practice the song so you can figure it out." I said. "Ok." She said.

2hrs Later

"Um the guy is stopping by in a hour to hear you guys." said Oli. "What!?" we all yelled. I stood up scaring my dogs and cat while at it and we ran upstairsu By this time we had perfected the song and it sounded amazing. Ashley taught me how to play the bass so now I play bass and sing. "Girls lets get ready." I said.

30 minutes later we were ready and nervous. A few minutes later he was here. "Ok Oliver said you guys were amazing so lets see what you got and then I'll see if I like you and if I do I'll get you a manager. And maybe brand new equipment." he said. "Ok." I said. I put my bass over my head, Shelby did the same with her guitar we plugged them in turned it on. I got in front of the mic Skye got behind the drums and then we were ready. We started playing and then I started to sing. After we were done we put everything back and walked out of the practice room. "And you said they were 18 right?" he asked. "Yep." Answered Oli. "Well girls welcome to fearless records. You will have a manager hopefully by next week, and you better start writing more songs." he said. "Omg thank you so much this means everything to us." we said and we hugged each other happily. "Well I better get going stop by my office tomorrow so we can get everything signed and stuff." he said. "Ok." and with that he left.
