Athena's P.O.V.
I stir a little in my sleep. Suddenly a pounding headache invades. "Dammit my head hurts like a bitch." I say gritting my teeth. "Language Athena." I hear the voice of Damon Salvatore say. "Well Damon I don't really give a shit so I'm good." I say sassily. I feel dry blood caked on my face. I take off my shirt abs wet a part of it with my tongue an d I begin to wipe it off. I hear Elena stiring in her sleep next to me. "W-where are we?" she asks. "We're somewhere not to far from Georgia." Damon says. "Take me back to Mystic Falls Damon... Now." Elena demands. Instead of replying Damon pulls over. I hear Elena's phone ring. "Elena's Phone." I hear Damon answer. "Where are they?" I hear Stefan on the other end ask. "They're right here safe and sound." Damon replies. The snarkiness clear in his voice. "Let me talk to them." Stefan demands. "Here." Damon hands me the phone. "I'm fine Stefan." I tell him. "I don't want to talk to him." Elena whispers in my ear. "And Elena's okay too." I tell him. Damon grabs the phone from my hand. "Goodbye brother." and he hangs up the phone."I promise not to compel you. You aren't the worst company in the world." he says honestly. "Okay fine I'll stay." Elena says.
*time skip*
Stefan's P.O.V. 
I ask Bonnie to meet up with me to ask her to do a locator spell to find Elena and Athena. She closes her eyes and tries to focus. She soon gives up an d opens them again. "I usually get a vision or a few images but it's not working. I'm sorry Stefan I have to go now." she gets up and leaves.

Damon's P.O.V.
Soon enough the car stops. "What are we doing at a bar?" Elena asks. "To meet an old friend of mine." Damon says. "You have friends? interesting." Athena said jokingly. We get into the bar and I hear a voice. "Damon Salvatore long time no see." Bree said.. "Are these your new little play toys?" She asked. "Anyways the name is Bree." Bree introduced.. "I'm Athena this is Elena."Anthena replied say pointing to herself then her sister.

Athena's P.O.V.
"So you're a witch?" me an d Elena ask at the same time. "Mhm." Bree replies. "Well people let's drink to this!" I tell throwing my arm in the air. By my sixth drink I'm slightly buzzed. I take another shot an d set the tiny glass on the counter almost immediately. "3 more rounds!" I yell. After the tenth shot I'm tipsy but I can handle my alcohol way better then Elena. "Come on Athena we have to go call aunt Jenna." Elena says taking me by the arm. We make our way outside an d Elena starts to dial aunt Jenna's phone number. Aunt Jenna picks up on the 3rd ring. "Where in the world are you and Athena?" Aunt Jenna questions. "Sorry aunt Jenna we fell asleep over Bonnie's house an d we forgot to call you." I say smoothly. "Well remember to call me next time. And be home for dinner." Aunt Jenna says sternly. "Okay we will Aunt Jenna love you." me an d Elena say at the same time. "Love you girls too." she replies. Elena hangs the phone up.

"How are me and Athena connected to Katherine Stefan?" I hear Elena ask. "I honestly don't know Elena." Stefan replies back. Elena hangs up the phone and  I hear Elena gasp in surprise. "Really Damon you just had to scare her?" I question.
*Another time skip*
Athena's P.O.V. 
 Me and Elena are outside once again when a I feel a firm grip on my arm and we're both whisked away. A few minutes later I hear Damon's voice before he can try to help us I hear something come in contact with his face. "You killed my girlfriend." he says. I can't help but to think it's Lexi he's talking about. "You killed her and now I'm going to kill you." he says. "You're Lexi's boyfriend aren't you?" I ask. "I thought you were human." I here Elena say. "When you love someone you want to be with them forever." he says back. He goes back to trying to killl Damon. "She told me about you. She told me she loved you and that you were the love of her life." I speak up once again. "Please don't do this don't be him." Elena says. "I'd be doing both of you a favor. " he says in reply. "Be bigger than him. You don't have to do this" Elena says."I may not have known Lexi very long but I could tell you one of the things I found out about her. She was a good person. Yes she's a vampire she might have killed some people in the pass she was vampire it's your nature. But I could tell she was a good person. So please don't do this don't be him. Don't stoop to his level. Don't do it for me but for her." I finish. He stops trying to kill Damon and I feel a flood of relief. "Thank you" me and my sister say at the same time. "I didn't do it for you." he says and vanishes. "I know." I whisper. 
While driving back to Mystic Falls we're all talking. "You both saved my life today." Damon admits. "And don't you forget it ."
Once me and Elena are dropped off we go see Stefan to talk about how we are connected to Katherine. "I'm still wondering how we're connected does that mean we're part vampire?" Elena asks. "No vampires can't reproduce.But what confused me is that your last names are Gilbert and her's is Pierce which meant I would have had to look into the Pierce family which would have been dangerous. " Stefan says. " I lied when we met on the first day of school that wasn't the first time all of us met. We first met in May 2009." he says. "But-but that's the day of the accident." I say. The next few words I drown out. I tune back in and the next few words change my life forever. "Elena and Athena you're both adopted." Stefan says. When me and Elena get home we confront aunt Jenna. "Aunt Jenna how come you never told us we were adopted?" I say being the first one to speak. "How did you find out?" Aunt Jenna asks. "It doesn't matter aunt Jenna but why have you never told us?" Elena asks. "I was promised not to tell either of you." she answers. "But-" she gets cut off by Elena. "I don't want to hear it." Elena says storming off. "Elena!"aunt Jenna tells after. "Athena I-" I cut her off too. "I don't want to hear it either. I'm pissed off at you." I make my way upstairs too.
