Chapter 6: Oh, This Will be Interesting

(Midoriya's POV)

We eventually made it to our class, which is the one everyone has been waiting for, Super Hero Training! Kanashi and I walked into the classroom and I chose to sit close to the front. I began to sit down as Kanashi nudged me,

    "Um c-can we sit at the b-back?"

I could tell this bothered him by the stutter and I complied to his wishes.

    "Sure."

I smile at him and got up. We were walking to the back someone tripped me, I looked up and it was, of course, Bakugou. What happened next really surprised me. Kanashi stepped up to him,

    "Did you know, if you flick a dog's nose they stop all immediate action."

Then Kanashi looked Bakugou dead in the eyes and flicked his nose. Bakugou grabbed his nose out of the slight pain.

    "Why you-"

He flicked his nose again,

    "Sit down Bakagou."

Bakugou's eyes were full of rage, but he sat down. Kanashi then helped me up, as we walked to the back of the classroom. When we sat down, Kanashi was breathing heavily.

    "That was scary."

I looked at him curiously,

    "Then why'd you do it?"

He looked at me and smiled,

    "That's friends do, right?"

I smiled back as I started twiddling my thumbs. As class started, we were all baffled by who our teacher was. It was the ever so infamous, All-Might. I got excited, to have All-Might as a teacher. I then looked over at Kanashi, expecting him to be in the least bit excited. Nope just a confused look on his face. He then raised his hand, while All-Might was accepting all the praise from the others.

    "Yes, um" All-Might then looked at the attendance sheet, "Kanashi."

His hand went down

    "Who are you?"

The classroom went dead silent. Everyone's eyes were on Kanashi now. He started to cower into his chair. Then Bakugou spoke up,

    "How do you not know who he is dumbass!"

This started all the other classmates, yelling at Kanashi, but was soon quieted,

    "SHUT IT!" All-Might bellowed

Everyone went quiet again,

    "Alright, today we will be doing Hero vs Villain. Simulated in a small spaced building."

This was the first time fighting so everyone was very excited. I could even see Kanashi's eyes glitter a bit at this.

    "Get changed into your hero costumes."

The walls popped out small capsules, each one assigned to a student. Kanashi was smiling hugely now, I guess he's like anyone else when it comes to hero stuff. Everyone rushed, to get their costume. Kanashi grabbed his costume and then walked back over to me.

    "Go on, get your costume."

He smiled at me.

    "Oh, I have mine right here."

I patted the duffle bag.

    "Oh, okay."

He then walked over to the restroom to change. I went to a separate one and started to change into my hero costume.

~Time Skip~

I was the last one to get out to the area, my hero disguise took forever to change into! I ran out to were all the others were and tried to find Kanashi. I looked around, but I'm assuming he looked very different in his hero disguise, obviously. I then felt a tap on my shoulder, and I turned around.

    "Hey."

It was obviously Kanashi. He was wearing a black cloak with white stripes on it. There were two 8s on both the hood of his cloak, and his shirt. There was an interesting shaped visor, it was an oval with a point in the middle. Then there was also a black mesh covering his mouth and chin.

    "Woah Kanashi, you look awesome!"

He turned a knob on the visor which was tinted and his eyes could be seen. He wasn't wearing his glasses.

    "T-Thanks, Midoriya."

    "So," I tapped the visor a bit "how can you see well without your glasses on."

    "Oh easy. I just made this out of the same glass as my glasses. So, I can see without having to wear my glasses while I'm fighting."

He laughed a bit and then looked at my costume,

    "I like yours also, very interesting design."

I looked down at my simple costume, which was basically a blue tracksuit with a mask and a hood. I chuckled a bit sheepishly.

    "Sure."

    "Alright students settle down."

That was All-Might, everyone's attention was now directed at All-Might.

    "In this test, it will be teams of two. Heroes and Villains. The Villains will try to protect their weapon, from the heroes and try not to be captured by said heroes. The Heroes on the other hand will try to either capture the villains or capture the weapons. Now to seeing who will be on a team and who will go first."

He listed of names in groups of two, when he finally got to group D and it was Kanashi and I. We were both excited about this for some reason. I'm guessing mainly him, because I was his one and only friend. Kanashi then pulled out a notepad and started marking on it. What happened next was just our luck and I'm assuming Kanashi didn't hear, because he had no reaction except more writing. We were going to be first being the hero and guess who were the Villains. Iida and...Bakugou. I then nudged Kanashi, with Bakugou staring us down, with the common death stare. He looked up with the, Huh, face and then saw Bakugou's face and cowered a bit.

    "W-What happened?"

    "We are g-going against Bakugou and I-Iida."

For two newly insecure heroes, oh this would be interesting.
