~The constellations were preparing themselves during the day when the sun covered them. Without the bright light, they would be unprotected and visible to spectators. The night time would be the right time to shine.~

Ara woke up the next day with damp sheets. Someone was banging on her door.

What a pest.

She dragged herself from the bed and walked towards the door.

She quickly cast a spell that made her slightly presentable. A clean up on the face for the eye and nose boogers and a fresh breath.

"Now now Draco, gently. Never wake a woman up like that. They deserve the best." Narcissa's gentle but stern voice came to the door.

She lightly knocked on the door. Ara quickly opened it, in front of her was a well dressed Narcissa Malfoy and a scowling little git, Malfoy Jr.

"Good morning dear, I know it is a little early but we must avoid the crowds. They question us way too much for our liking during the rush hours. We're going to Diagon Alley, we have to get your dress as well as Draco's suit for the engagement. The measurements are required, that's why I'm dragging you. Sorry about that." She smiled gently.

"That's not an issue, Mrs. Malfoy," Ara replied politely.

"Please call me Narcissa." She insisted.

Malfoy Jr. scoffed and folded his arms. His mother was too nice for this filthy little mudb-... person.

"Quickly get ready, and then we shall use the floo." She then dragged Malfoy. Jr by the arm away, leaving Ara to dress.

~

Ara walked to the huge living room, there were a bunch of framed photographs around the walls. Some of them held a cute little pointy chinned blond-head, while some held older people.

"Let's get going then!" Narcissa clapped her hands together and guided Ara to floo herself to Diagon Alley.

They arrived in a couple of seconds and walked towards a fancy looking shop containing a few witches and wizards compared to the rest of Diagon Alley.

"The number of people here, even at this time!" Narcissa scoffed and brought them in front of the shop.

She talked to the wizard at the front, while two witches were getting Ara and Draco's measurements.

"Alright then, I'll write to you later Mr. Remytio. Come on children, we can hang around here for some time and then get back to the Manor." Narcissa then moved on to the shop right beside the one they were standing. It looked just as fancy and posh as the other.

Malfoy Jr. walked off to the darker and dull side of the road while Ara walked further down the opposite way.

She came across 'Public Owl Station- 1 galleon per scroll.'

She quickly got her coin purse and flashed it to the old man sitting to the side. He smiled at her and pointed to a brown owl.

Ara sat down and grabbed the pen and scroll from the side. This was her chance to inform her best friends about the situation.

Briefly writing about what happened within 24 hours since she saw her best friends, she rolled up the separate scrolls and tied it to three different owls.

The owls hooted gently and flew to their destinations, waiting to see the reactions of the letter recipients.

Ara walked over to the old man and paid 3 galleons. When she walked back to the store the Malfoy's were, she saw Narcissa talking to Draco in a quick whisper.

"You better do that Draco, or I'll send a picture of your first bubble bath to everyone in Hogwarts, including Albus Dumbledore. Don't make me." Narcissa warned Draco.

"Alright, alright." He replied lazily though he did seem a little nervous. Those pictures would ruin him.

"Let's leave Ara, dear, I've got to get your jewellery and everything else right after I drop you both back home. Your father will arrive in a couple of minutes to talk to you as well dear." Narcissa informed her calmly.

They apparated back which was a pain,  that was when Ara decided she preferred to floor.

Narcissa apparated immediately after they reached the Manor. Ara waited patiently in her room for her father.

A couple of minutes after their arrival, David Parker knocked on Ara's room.

"Come in."

"Hello, raspberry."

"Dad...don't call me that."

"It's not my fault you loved raspberries so much that you'd name your own daughter Raspberry."

"It was just a suggestion."

"Suggestion or not, I'm calling you that."

"Fine, as you wish. Question time."

"Uh-oh."

"Yes, why? What? When? Where? Who? and How?"

"OK then. When, well when you were a year old. Where right outside that Leaky pub. Who, Lucius and his wife and well myself. What, an unbreakable vow was cast about your marriage which you know. Why I'm not sure myself yet. How held hands like a handshake and Narcissa cast some spells."

"Wow. There's no way escaping this, is there?"

"I've been trying for the past twelve years. Nothing worked. If you both do get married but then break it off, Lucius and I will die and it will be painful."

Ara started to cry thinking about her father in pain and David brought her to his chest, gently rubbing her back.

"It's ok. I've been researching about the Malfoy's. They are a good and reputed family. The only problem is that they follow Voldemort. But we don't have to worry about that because he's gone."

Ara nodded gloomily and hugged her father tightly. She didn't want to let go just yet.

So there they were, the two Parkers hugging and comforting each other. The two of them only. Too busy to notice anything but themselves.

What they didn't see was a boy watching them in awe by the door.

Draco Malfoy slowly backed off from the door and walked to his door.

The pure love and affection he saw melted him. Just a little though.

He felt jealous. He wanted that. He got everything he wanted right, but why not that?

All he wanted in the world right now was pure love and affection.

Where could he get that?
