Chapter Twelve: The Uzumaki Family

"Papa!!! We're home!" The loud shout of a boy was heard as his giggles were heard as well, and his equally blond haired mother steps inside their house, as Nagato puts away his black cloak inside the closet. His eyes roam over to his wife and son, as he brushes a strand of his red hair to the side. "Narugisa. Naruto." He smiles lightly as the little Uzumaki boy runs into the arms of his father. Nagato picks up Naruto as his eyes look at Naruto. "How are you, my son?" He asks, as Naruto grins wide. "I'm great, dad!"

Narugisa smiles, as she then walks back inside the kitchen as she turns on her stove and places a pot down, and grabs the noodles to start making the ramen. Nagato smiles gently as he sees Narugisa start up the ramen. Naruto turns to a book that rests on the table. "Ooh!" Naruto picks it up, as Nagato raises an eyebrow before turning around to see what Naruto has in his hands. As a four year old, Naruto tries his hardest to pronounce the title printed finely on the book. "A-Akat..." Nagato quickly takes the book away from Naruto.

"Son, that book is mine, I am sorry but I can't have you read it." Nagato declares as he gently places it on the highest shelf of the bookcase. Naruto pouts at his tomato haired father before crossing his arms. "And why not, Pops?!" Naruto grunts as Narugisa bellows from the kitchen. "Nagato? What aren't you letting our son do?!" She almost growls, as Nagato sighs, before patting Naruto on the head. "Why don't you go outside and play for a bit? The playground isn't too far." Nagato declares, as the forgetful Naruto smiles, before slipping some green goggles on.

"Bye mom! I'll be back for dinner!" Naruto flings the door open as he then rushes out. Narugisa raises an eyebrow, as she feels Nagato's body press against hers, as his hand shifts over on top of hers. Narugisa closes her eyes, letting her whiskers flex before inhaling deeply, and exhaling softly. "Nagato. Something tells me you didn't let Naruto go out and play just to seduce me." Narugisa begins, as Nagato eyes lessen. "Maybe I can at night." Nagato murmurs as Narugisa blushes, before turning around, and Nagato places his hands on her hips before looking into her ocean blue eyes.

"It's about the Akatsuki book." Nagato declares as Narugisa sighs. "I thought you were going to dispose the book!" She mutters, as Nagato sighs. "The Akatsuki already has been founded, Narugisa. Remember, by you, me, your brother, and Konan." He says, before kissing her cheek. She places her hands on his shoulders, before closing her eyes. "But do you seriously think Naruto and Sakura will be the leaders?" Narugisa asks, as Nagato breathes down her neck. "Of course, I know so, now. I'm going to go outside and play with our son. I'll leave you to tend with the ramen." Nagato says, and with that, Narugisa stares into the bowl of ramen.
