Chapter Thirteen: The Haruno Assembly

At night, after Naruto had gone off to bed, Narugisa knew that now was the time to go on the Haruno assembly, although she was officially Narugisa Uzumaki, she still had to go to the Haruno assembly with Yahiko. After reading Naruto his bed time story--no, not Make Out Paradise, she took her lead as headed for the Yahiko, who was currently living nearby them, however, Konan considered moving really soon. Before leaving, Nagato gave Narugisa a small kiss on the lips, although, he wasn't as expressive about his love like Yahiko was with Konan, there was a certain side to him only Narugisa saw.

The green crickets chirped into the night as Narugisa approached the small house for three as she gently knocked on the door. Konan, being the alert one, opened the door, and once she saw it was Narugisa, a warm greeting arrived. "Good night, Narugisa, are you off to the Haruno assembly already with Yahiko?" Konan asks, as Narugisa nods. "Yep! So, how is Sakura doing?" Narugisa asks, even though she already saw her niece today. Konan's orange orbs light up, as a smile sweeps on her face. "Sakura is good, she's sleeping now." Konan declares.

Narugisa had two certain questions she wanted to ask of, but Yahiko entered the hallway and gave his sister a smile. "Hey sis. Ready?" Yahiko asks as he receives a nod. Soon, the two head on out, as Yahiko has Naruto on his mind. "How's my nephew?" He asks, as Narugisa smiles softly at the mention of her son. "He's doing great, ya know? But he almost found out of..." She swallows the lump in her throat. "The Akatsuki." She harshly says. Yahiko stops dead in his tracks. "You know...it was almost going to be a reality, sis."

Narugisa blinks, before gripping the end of her shirt tightly. "But it didn't. Let's leave it at that." She starts to walk forward. Her brother follows her close behind. "But, you are one of the five who wanted to start the Akatsuki." Yahiko reminds her. Narugisa gives him a subtle nod, before eyes lessen, remembering who the fifth founder was. "You still haven't forgotten him, have you?" Yahiko whispers into the night. "How could I forget? He was suppose to be here with us...but...he had to sacrifice himself for what we have here." Narugisa says with a trace of sadness in her voice.

Silence.

"Okay sis...we better go to the Haruno assembly." Yahiko walks beside her as they then head for a building that has the Haruno symbol, even though there were only ten members in the Haruno clan.

The oldest, Haruka Haruno, who was an old lady with the biggest smile that would smile through anything she was thrown into.

Her grandson, Kazuto Haruno, who has scarlet mixed orange hair and eyes that were that of pink. He is seventeen.

Their medic-nin, Mito Haruno, who had magenta long hair, eyes of light avocado.

Their main defense, Fuuto Haruno, who had a muscular build to him, he was kind for his appearance.

The twin siblings, Garu and Guru. Garu had pink hair, Guru had purple. These two were seventeen.

And the four others, were Narugisa, Yahiko, Naruto, and then Sakura, who showed no trace of being an Uchiha.

"Are we late?" Yahiko asks with the biggest grin on his face as Narugisa smiles as well. Haruka returns their smile with a wrinkly smile of her own. "It's alright dearies, we were just getting started! Where are the other two Haruno?" Haruka asks as the Haruno siblings eyes widen.

"W-Were we suppose to bring Naruto and Sakura?" Narugisa responds as Yahiko bonks his head a couple times with his fist. Had he forgotten? "Hahaha. It's way past the little ones' bedtime to attend this meeting, but I would like the rest of the clan to meet them." Haruka says as Narugisa smiles as a fist is raised high and Yahiko laughs like a laughing stock. "It's settled! I'll dress up Naruto in his Sunday best and he shall be here!" Narugisa declares as her brother chimes in. "And Sakura shall have a beautiful dress to wear!"

"Now, now. No need to get carried away. Now come on, we shall commence the meeting." Haruka then walks to an aligned area of chairs with refreshments to the side, which Fuuto ate with a pile in his hands. "First discussion, my bumbling grandson!" Haruka rasps as Kazuto quickly stands up. "H-Hey, I already apologized to Lady Tsunade about the damage!" Kazuto scratches the back of his head, as Haruka smacks his head. "That doesn't explain to the clan what you did!" Haruka folds her arms as Kazuto sighs lightly. "O-Okay...maybe I destroyed a couple buildi--OWWW! OK I DESTROYED FOURTEEN BUILDINGS!"

Laughter was heard from Fuuto, and the Haruno twins. "Alright, so now, Kazuto must raise money to repair everything...and write a loooooooong apology letter for the damage he's done!" Haruka then turns to Mito. "Mito, how are the patients?" Haruka asks as Mito answers with a full status report. "And lastly, to end this, we shall throw the hugest party both the Haruno clan and Leaf village has ever seen!" Haruka exclaims as Fuuto jumps up, revealing that he is a mess of food. "Yes!!! A party for me!" His ear pulls him back down.

"Sit down, fool! I'm talking about a party to introduce Sakura and Naruto to our clan! As all of you should know, they are the youngest Haruno members!" Haruka says as Narugisa and Yahiko smile. "Well that's it! Everyone go home safely! See you all the next meeting--wait...we live in the same village." Haruka says as Fuuto swarms his t-shirt full of food as everyone else leaves, all except for the Haruno siblings. "Lady Haruka, wait." Narugisa says, as Haruka stops in her tracks before facing Narugisa and Yahiko with a smile. "Yes? What is it?"

"I don't think that's all you wanted to tell us." Yahiko says as silence explodes from within. After a pause, Haruka sighs. "Tell us what we need to know of Naruto and Sakura..." Narugisa says as Haruka sighs. "They should be placed in this clan..." Haruka says as Yahiko chimes in. "But? Buts shall always be involved behind all this." Yahiko states as Narugisa gives him a slight glare. "But...is this clan secreted enough? Yes we're a very small clan like the Hatake clan, but, think of their other two clans, Uzumaki and Uchiha." Haruka goes on.

"Uzumaki. Uchiha." The siblings say simultaneously. Haruka nods. "Wait! But how do we know for sure if Sakura is truly Uchiha?! She should've had fire within her by now, her eyes should've been sharingan...she should..." Haruka interrupts. "She is Uchiha. Remember, her mother is of Uchiha." Haruka says as Narugisa gulps. "B-But...I don't want to lose them...if we know for sure that...." She then whispers. "That the Haruno clan shall face...." She stops as Yahiko helps her argument. "Yeah, and how do we know for sure the Uchiha and Uzumaki will want them!"

"Because they are of the clan."

Two voices say at the same time as the three Haruno turn around and see a man on the left, with dark chocolate, almost ebony black hair with an M-Part that separated his bangs to partially show his forehead. His eyes were a dark midnight black, neutral with his emotions. As the head of the Uchiha clan, and Captain of the Konoha Police Force, he is immensely powerful for a member of a strong royal clan.

"Fugaku..." Yahiko speaks up.

The man on the right, had light tan skin, the biggest smile of all in Konoha. Bolting blond hair that was perfect, his eyes an oceanic blue that contain many shades of blue from within. He was forgiving, yet he was raging when he needed to be. For now, he was head of both the Uzumaki clan and the Namikaze.

"Minato!" Narugisa manages to speak.

"You don't have to worry. Sakura shall be placed under our clan. After all, she is a member along with Konan." Fugaku says as Minato nods. "And Naruto is Uzumaki as well, so there's no negativity in that. We leave you with that." The two men look at the Haruno siblings, leaving them with a lingering choice on their mind.
