heres part 2!!

"Are you sure people won't be able to find us up here?" I asked uncertainly, staring at Justin and biting my lip.

He turned to look at me, an exasperated expression on his face. "You really think people are gonna randomly decide to check the roof?" He asked exasperatedly.

I shrugged. "You did." I pointed out.

He shrugged. "That's different." He replied.

I raised my eyebrows. "How so?"

"I was being stalked by creepy grade niners who are fans of mine. I had to find a quick escape. They even followed me into the bathroom. The boys' bathroom." He clarified. "I was running away and I happened to end up in the attic, and I found the entrance onto the roof." He shrugged. "It was all circumstantial."

I continued to look at him skeptically.

He looked at me exasperatedly. "No one's going to find us."

"If you say so..." I trailed off.

"I promise." He stated flatly.

I merely smirked.

We were sitting on the roof of the school, leaning up against the side of it with our books, folders, and binders spread out haphazardly around us. After Greg had asked me to the dance with him, I'd headed to class, only to be distracted by a text from Justin stating that we needed to figure out the next time to get together for the project, considering he was going to be out of town for a week starting Thursday for work. I'd responded that this afternoon would work out and he'd agreed. My mom was having a dinner for all of her co-workers and boss that night at my house, so I'd told him we couldn't meet there, and for some reason, instead of having it at his house as I'd expected, he'd suggested we have the meeting somewhere else, so as to 'get a change of scenery'.

Though slightly confused as to why, I'd agreed anyway.

And so, after informing my mom of what I was doing, I'd met Justin at his locker. He'd then led me all the way through the school to the entrance to the roof, which, admittedly, I had no idea even existed.

And quite frankly, the route that led to the attic was so complicated, I doubted I'd be able to find my way back up here without Justin.

So I guess he had a point when he said no one was going to find us.

"Alright," I began after a moment, pulling my notes and requirement sheet towards me and peering at them. I tapped the side of my papers with my pencil. "How should we connect the Capulets' and Montagues' ongoing feud with a topical issue? Should we compare it to modern warfare maybe? Or problems within different governments?"

I turned to look at him, only to find that it appeared as if he wasn't listening to me at all.

He was closing his eyes (which led me to notice that his black eye was now completely gone), and scrunching his forehead up the merest bit.
