Chapter 11- And Back To Weak, Again.

I'm Alexandra’s daughter? Are they for real?!

I stood there in the cave, motionless, my mind trying to make sense of everything. I tried thinking up a reasonable explanation of what’s happening and going on but I just couldn’t. My mind went on some rollercoaster between a few thoughts but it would never accept any thought or reason I gave to this madness.

“Okay, if I was the daughter of Alexandra doesn’t that mean I have some kind of power?” I asked out loud to no one actually just needing to speak the words in order to actually believe any of this is really happening. How do you even figure out if you have powers or not? I was sounding so crazy at the moment but it made the most sense of all this.

Closing my eyes I tried to concentrate, but the rushing of the water as it crashed was driving me insane, I needed peace and quiet. I tried to ignore the rushing water but it was as if the water was mocking me and roared louder. I wish it would just stop, I thought irritated.

Suddenly everything went quiet. There was no rushing water or any other sound of water moving. Shocked at this I walked over to the entrance of the cave and gaped at the waterfall. It was frozen, like someone pressed pause. A thought crossed my mind, telling me it was me who did that. I decided to test it... but how did I do it in the first place? Thinking hard I remembered I wished it would stop, with that in mind I closed my eyes and concentrated. I wish it would start again, I thought towards the waterfall. Opening my eyes I stared at the waterfall that was still frozen and sighed heavily. That didn't work. Maybe I'm dreaming this...

Yep, that’s it... this is all a dream and I must have fallen asleep in my room waiting for the guest to arrive. I knew I was fooling myself but I didn't know what else to believe this was way too much to take in. Ha, they were crazy if they thought I was the daughter of Alexandra, the Greek princess Alexandra who was given the gift of prophecy only to let it become a curse.

Shaking my head at how crazy everything was, I walked over to the opening of the cave and out into the forest. I didn't know which way was home but I was hoping it was this way. I found a trail leading somewhere and followed it, begging that it would lead me home. As I walked futher down the trail, the faint sound of water rushing and crashing down met my ears. Oh, no you work, I thought bitterly.

I was still muttering about how crazy everything was at this moment that I didn't even realized it was really dark outside, just past midnight, I think. I kept muttering to myself as I followed the trail, the purple mist that was around my hands were gone now and I still think I'm crazy. Something rustled in the bushes ahead and I stopped dead in my tracks, ready to run away and escape if it was some hungry animal after me. My breath caught in my throat as I waited in anticipation for the unknown animal to appear from behind the bushes. Be a rabbit, be a rabbit, be a rabbit...

A gasp left my lips as Seth came walking out from behind the bush with a few guys coming up behind him. They looked scary and ready to fight; I swallowed and backed up slowly. Seth looked angry and menacing and looked nothing like the Seth who was scared shitless a few minutes ago. What changed?

I turned on my heels and made a move to run for my dear life but stopped mid step as Seth’s voice reached me, “I wouldn’t run if I were you. We can easily track your scent and hunt you down.” I turned around cautiously and stared at Seth, not uttering a word.

“Now Ryan, why don’t you come with us without screaming and we’ll promise not to harm you...much,” He smirked sickeningly at me and stepped towards me his gang following his steps.

“I'm not coming anywhere with you!” I hissed trying my best to show confidence when all I wanted to do was run away screaming for dear life. His face hardened and he took another step towards me, followed by a few more until he was right in front of me.
