This chapter is dedicated to ghenovo for always being so enthusiastic about my work and providing support. Love you girl!

"Paige! Where have you been?" Payton asks concerned as Paige closes the front door of their elaborate mansion.

"With old friends. Why?" Paige replies, her voice tired.

"Well I got this invitation today." Payton begins "To a party at the Bradley's and I was wondering if you could lend me a dress."

"You're joking!" Paige mocks.

"No, I am not. Please sis."

"Well, no. If you want a dress, then buy one. That is what I am doing." Paige begins to walk up the stairs but Payton's voice stops her.

"But you wear clothes once and never wear them again." Payton follows Paige.

"But they are still mine! You want a dress, buy one!" Paige snaps "Besides you have the money!"

"But Paige!" Payton pleads.

"Goodbye Payton!" Paige storms out on her and goes to her room. "How annoying! She's rich but yet she can't even buy a dress." Paige soliloquizes.

Payton walks back down the stairs and goes back to the couch to reach her novel and then twenty minutes later, Paige returns from her room in a different outfit; skinny jeans and a blue tank top, a white handbag and car keys. Her long red hair is held in a ponytail. She rushes down the stairs and makes her way to the main door.
"Paige, where are you going now? You just got home!" Payton says in disbelief as she places her novel on her thigh.

"If you must know, shopping!" Paige sighs at her sister, obviously annoyed.

"Why don't you stay here with me." She smiles "I'm bored."

"But you look occupied." Paige points her finger towards the novel resting on Payton's lap. "Crime fiction I am sure."

"Of course! You know that's my fave." Payton smiles.

"Okay so enjoy it then." Paige tries to leave again.

"Common Paige, let's talk for a bit. Just for a while." Payton urges "Please."

"Fine!" Paige sighs and then goes to take a seat next to her sister "So what are you reading?" Paige raises her eyebrows at the novel on Payton's thighs.

"Highway home."

"Highway home?" Paige says with a weird look.

"Yes, it's a novel about this psychopath who.. "

"Stop there!" Paige interrupts "I hate crime fiction. It's too dark. Novels like that give me nightmares and I really hate nightmares."

"Well they teach you a lot you know.. " Payton tries to continue but Paige interrupts again.

" I cannot understand how you can go to university and insist on studying Criminal Psychology. It is really beyond me Payton Miller." Paige exclaims a bit.

"Well it is not hard to understand really." Payton tries to explain.

"Yeah seriously Payton, I don't really get you although we are twins." Paige says in a subtle manner.

"How do you expect to understand me when you spend all your time away from me?" Payton voices out in a harsher and more aggressive tone than intended which makes Paige feel taken aback as she stares back at her twin with large guilty green eyes but then Paige suddenly takes a deep breath and comports herself, the look disappearing as quickly as it appeared like it was never there to begin with.
