...all I can say is don't regret anything when you see her with someone else one day.

   Alex's words were playing in Greyson's head. It was no doubt that Alex said that because he had a thing for her. Greyson knew it. Somehow he felt like his heart was stabbed by a sharp knife when he saw Chloe with Alex. They looked happy.

"So Alex got her, huh? That was fast." He monologued. "It's okay. It's not like I care." But deep inside he knew his heart was breaking.

"Greyson, we need to talk."

"I don't have time." Greyson said as he walked to the stairs. Scott stood up and raised his voice.

"You better stop right there or I'll take back everything."

Greyson stopped in his track and turned to look at his father. "Oh, so you're threatening me now?" He raised an eyebrow. "Okay, what's the important thing that you really want to talk about? Is this about the company? Or the same shit you've told me every fucking night? You know I'm not gonna change."

"You're talking to your father. Watch your language." Scott warned. He tried to control his anger while talking to his son.

Greyson laughed, mocking his father. "Cut the crap, dad. Time is money."

   "I want you to marry Chloe."

   Greyson widen his eyes. "What the hell? Where is this coming from?"

   "I know everything. You have to be responsible for what you've done to her."

   "What? Why? Is she pregnant? Even if she is, that child might not be mine. Why don't you ask Alex? He might have the answer." Greyson scoffed.

   "Alex has nothing to do with this. You slept with Chloe, right? Why did you do that if you don't feel anything towards her? You played with her feelings." Scott coughed and rubbed his chest.

   "Are you sure Alex has nothing to do with this? I saw him with her looking so close together. What was that? And why do I have to marry her just because I bedded her? Why don't you just tell me to marry all the girls I've fucked instead? You're so ridiculous, dad."

   "Don't you have feelings for her? Don't you love Chloe, son?"

Greyson looked at his father and at the floor. "I-I don't love her." He cursed himself for stuttering. Scott slowly stepped forward and placed his hand on Greyson's shoulder.

"It's not wrong to have those feelings, Greyson. It's not wrong to love someone." Scott turned around and continued. "I used to be madly in love with your mother. She was everything to me until the day she died."

"Why did you sleep with different women every night if you loved her? You're the worst." Greyson said with disgust in his tone.

"I-I was young like you. I was stupid and chose the wrong way to forget your mother. I was so sad. I thought God was being unfair to me. I'm sorry for abandoning you my son. I'm not a good father to you." Scott softly gripped Greyson's arm and turned him around.
