after 5 minutes of silence from the news Xephos and Rythian finally found their voices to speak.
"Right so if we want to save Sjin we need to go into the mineshaft and figure out from there" Xephos said grabbing his diamond sword he had laid next to his bed. "Yeah but some would have to stay in-case of him" Martyn said using bunny ears on 'him'. the others nodded agreeing and Xephos sighed. "Fine. five stay four go, any takers?" he asked raising his eyebrows. the others looked at each other until three raised there hands. Honeydew, Sips and Rythian. Xephos was surprised but swallowed it down as he spoke. "Right the four of us will find Sjin and this Strawfingers guy and Teep, Zoey, Lalna, Martyn and Toby you's stay here in-case of attacks" Xephos said putting his sword in his hands, his training coming back to him. the group nodded as Rythian, Sips, Honeydew and Xephos headed out.
Turning right they headed for the mines trying not to look at the small drops of blood leaving a guideline. Xephos led the group with Sips and Honeydew behind him, Rythian watching their backs. "Right guys if Sjin's down there we get him out quick and quietly ok?" Xephos whispered facing down the mine shaft. As Sjin had built this it looked like a masterpiece as it went straight down until the group couldn't see. the group nodded and descended down the long staircase dreading what was down here.
"So why you here" Sips asked Rythian braking the tension. Rythian shrugged "I changed my thoughts about him and I think he has too". Sips nodded in understanding. "yeah I seen the way you looked when Xeph said about this you looked shocked, which is strange for the likes of you". Sips said laughing at the end. Rythian smiled under his mask. "yeah well whoever this man or creatures is, he has us to deal with" Rythian said descending down further. Honeydew was holding a torch as it was getting darker and darker the further they went. "you nervous friend?" he asked Xephos who was fixed in his own thoughts. "mmmm? yeah" Xephos said turning to face his small friend. "sorry spaced out there for a minute". Honeydew nodded understanding that he needed some space (no pun intended!) and stayed quiet as they finally reached the bottom of the shaft. The group looked around as they was a small room at the bottom that lead to different mines Sjin had obviously made. At the end of the room there was a nether portal inviting them in. Blood could be seen more now round the edge of the portal and as they followed the trail they all saw a sign beside it, they all walked up towards it. "Sjinny boy's in here!" Sips read aloud before the they were nodding agreeing with each other inside their heads.
"lets go" Rythian said stepping through the portal as Xephos Sips and Honeydew followed through.
Rythians P.O.V
As i stepped through the portal i shivered as it transported me to the nether. as the others came through to Me and hopefully Sjin was we all took in our surroundings. The portal was in a safe spot, not near lava or near ghasts but on a nice patch of flat netherack. To the right I could see lava, to the left I could see lava and in the middle I saw a giant tower. it looked dark and spooky as it had lava flowing through parts of it that fell back into the lava acting as a moat of death.
"Betting you any money he's in there" Honeydew said brandishing his trusty ruby axe. all of us smiled at this comment and also took out our weapons, me with my katar, Sips with a sapphire sword and Xephos with his diamond sword. We walked over a drawbridge of cobblestone and walked into the castle and at the entrance it had two passageways, one going left one going right. the heat inside here was boiling that made it also stuffy too in my mask. "right split up into two's me and Honeydew and you's two" Xephos said pointing at me and sips, we both nodded. "shout if you find him and if you find this Strawfingers......." he sighed "you know what to do" he finished walked away to the left. me and sips watched them go before facing each other. "ready" I said and sips nodded "lets go get this son of a bitch".
