Sips P.O.V
my legs were killing me as we walked through the forest, tripping as well which pissed me right off. Rythian and Sjin were beside me, Rythian on my left and Sjin being my right-hand man. They both were looking around alot as did the others, probably checking to see if any more monsters roamed. "So how far?" i asked to really everybody. All of us turned to Xephos and Honeydew awaiting an answer. They both shrugged not wanting to talk and we all headed forward coming to an opening. (that's what she said)
At the opening, to our immediate left there was a massive lake that i would of ran into but i couldn't as i had to be mature an all. To our right was a nice patch of plain grass and we all decided we would make camp there tonight. In front of us was a sight to behold, a large castle stood towering over us and around it was a moat of some sort of blood lake. a drawbridge was closed blocking any entry into it, and i noticed light was easily visible from inside the castle.
'somebodys home'
we all noticed how eerie it looked so we quickly walked over to the right and this is when Martyn and Toby spoke up. "me and Toby could set up camp, its kinda our division" Martyn said motioning with his hands to him and Toby when he said 'our division'. We all agreed and awkwardly stood next to them while they started to grab a few things. Toby coughed awkwardly "you could go over to the lake over there and get cleaned up some of you look like,," he said looking at all of us, i did then see how bad we looked for starters i was caked in mud and shit but i got off lightly lets say. "we look like shit" lalna said earning laughs from us and gingerly we walked over to the lake and started to clean ourselves.
Zoeys P.O.V
As i started to wash away the mucky mud that covered my top, rythian helped me by doing my back. I saw that Rythian wasn't in the water but was using his magic to rinse the dirt of himself and my back, that's why i was warm and fuzzy inside. I laughed and soaked Teep who was washing his tail, who then soaked me but also Sjin who was next to me. "oh your Dino meat Teep" he said and rushed over to him and soaked him good. Laughing everybody joined in slashing and soaking each other. After a while of soaking each other i turned to find Rythian some paces away, sitting on the grass facing the opposite way. I walked out the lake -not before soaking a few people- and creeped up on him. I was about to tackle him with a hug when he said "Hello Zoey, you had enough of Sjin soaking you?" I almost fell over in fright with his sudden outburst of words. "You watched then?" i asked and he turned smiling softly "of course i did" he said and patted the grass next to him. I plopped down and leaned into him taking a deep breath in and out. "rythian are we going to come out this battle alive?" i asked shakily and he looked at me, wrapping his arm around me, "i can't tell you if we will but i will promise this" he turned to face me fully, twisting his body round as did i. "i promise i will protect you with my life and no matter what i will always be there for you" he said, i then realized i was on the brink of tears as i single tears rolled down my cheek. Rythian laughed at this and rubbed the tear away. "don't cry" and he did something i couldn't even see coming.
He pulled down his mask and kissed me.
i felt as though every muscle in my body melted as i leaned into the kiss, closing my eyes i now know that that warm sensation wasn't Rythian, it was my love to Rythian. I was sure i heard Sjin and Sips wolf whistle in the background. As soon as it started he parted from me, i opened my eyes to find him smiling at me "sorry" he said which puzzled me "what for?" i asked and pecked his lips quickly before turning round and facing the others. They had all stopped the water fight and where now clapping at us. "about god dam time!" Honeydew said and everyone laughed. Well everyone bar Lalna.
Martyns P.O.V
Me and Toby quickly began to collect long branches that had fallen off there roots. After that Toby set up the structures for five tents. one for Xephos and Honeydew, -we made that one the biggest- the next one for Rythian and Zoey, -and teep because he would probably sleep with them- the other one was for ourselves, One for Sips and Sjin and finally one to Lalna all to himself a we knew he would like that. While Toby did that i was busy looking for flax. i quickly scouted the sides of the forest before kneeling down on one knee. I took a deep breath before whispering to my Friends "grass grow flax, and my friends flax you will grow and turn into string, and in string you grow, into sheets of what you shall bring" almost immediately the grass around me transformed into what i wanted, flax and after a few minutes my friends turned themselves into strong looking sheets of white linen. "thank you" i said before collecting the sheets and running back over to Toby who had finished with the sticks. "you about done then?" i shouted as i ran and he nodded "you got the cloth?" he yelled back and i held the sheets in the air "got them" and with that we both started to make the tents. I looked over to the rest of the group to see how there were doing and to be shocked to find Rythian leaning in for a kiss to Zoey "Toby look at this!" i yell-whispered and pointed to the couple and as the kissed in the distance i saw Sjin and Sips stop at the water fight and wolf whistle like teenagers. Toby jeered and i laughed going back to fixing the last not into the ground. "Right that's us done!" i said and we both knew what that meant. "lets start a fire" Toby said and we both ran to the side of the woods to collect some dry wood that were leftovers of my friends.
