Xephos P.O.V
i woke yawning quietly so i didn't wake those who slept. I looked around the room and smiled, 7 people where sleeping soundly, 1 loudly snoring. I chuckled to myself as i stretched and again walked outside to stretch my legs. Passing the wheat farm I walked to the array of tree's spread out behind the back. I sighed happily as I watched the bee's do there work, going back to there home and create the juicy reward. "Xephos?" I heard behind me and I turned to face Martyn.
In a Tree.
"Martyn?" I asked watching him climb down nimbly and quickly. "how in Minecraftia did you get there?" I asked and he walked over to me. Martyn shrugged "i like nature and I have friends in the earth" he said and smiled as he knelt down and pressed his palm against the floor. open mouthed I watched as the flowers grew beneath us and blossomed perfectly. "wow" I said looking at a rose. "I know right. Toby never gets sick of this" Martyn chuckled and I did too. "how is Toby by the way?" I asked as he stood up. "Toby holding up ok, a little shocked about Sjin but he's doing fine. I'm proud of him" he said and I nodded "good everybody seems different and we've not even started the quest. I mean Sjin and Rythian have forgave each other for starters" I said smirking. "yeah that's a plus" Martyn said walking back onto the path. "hopefully we can defeat 'him'" Martyn said and I smiled "we have too. we need too" I said more to myself but Martyn nodded. "I know. since nobody's asked you this I will" Martyn looked straight into my lenses. "are you ok?"
What will I say the truth? Or Lie?
I shrugged my shoulders looking straight back at him. "honestly I'm more worried about everybody else to be scared so I'm doing alright" I said and Martyn sighed "wish a had your confidence" he said and we walked back to the farmhouse.
Lalna, Sjin, Rythian, Zoey, Toby and Teep were up when we got back leaving Sips and Honeydew still snoring there heads off. I walked to Lalna who was sitting on his bed opposite mine, polishing his goggles. "hey sleep well" I started conversation and sat down on my bed. "good you?" he said not looking up. "fine, these make shift beds are comfy as hell. After all this Sjin's definitely making us some" I said smiling at the joke I made but Lalna seemed not amused. "ha yeah" he said sighing and looked up at me, his messy mop of a hair falling covering half of his face. I then realized what was going on.
"Oh Lalna. your not still mad at Sjin for the old land! I thought you forgot about it?" I said looking at him as his quickly took a glance at Sjin who was preparing our breakfast with the help of Zoey. "you wouldn't know what to do" he lurked and I felt my hands turn slowly into fists of anger. He knows I have a short temper when someone mentions my past and I know sometimes his 'livid' side shows when down. I took a deep breath forcing a smile on my face. "no I wouldn't but I have heard it many times to decide it was thing to forget" I stood up "so forget" and I walked over to Honeydew who had just woke up leaving him.
Sips P.O.V
I woke up yawning loudly and scratching ma balls because I can so shut it. Looking around I saw everybody up and noticed goggle boy starring at silk shirt guy. "sleep well" I jumped turning to face Rythian, who was on the couch next to Toby and Martyn. "Yip" I said jumping out of bed and sitting next to him. "how long til breakfast?" I shouted over to Sjin. he turned holding a glass of milk "two minutes!" he said and turned back round in time to stop Zoey eat another blueberry. "you hungry then?" Toby said "I'm always hungry" I said rubbing my belly. we joked about for another minute before Sjin and Zoey came round handing everyone food. everybody was given an egg sandwich, milk and an apple. I wolfed mine down being a man an all and patted my now full belly giving out a loud burp. "thats the spot" i said as everybody laughed. Xephos then clapped to get our attention "right after breakfast pack your things and get a move on. we're heading out"
Honeydew P.O.V
After we had finally finished packing and had doubled checked everything we headed back over the little hill and back into the forest. It had changed drastically, the trees were rotten with dead leaves sprayed around, the sky looked dark and gloomy compared to when we were over at the farm which had sunny spells and flowers around every corner. The dirt beneath us felt squishy under my boot as i walked with the group. "How we gonna find him anyway?" i said to Xephos and he shrugged and then i realized everybody had stopped talking to the other friends and were now listening. "well see over there" he pointed straight ahead "yes" i replied "the wold looks darker and more humid so best chances are he's somewhere over there" Xephos said and i nodded and we all started to walk in silence. "did you hear that?" Xeph said beside and had stopped, looking over his left shoulder. "what?" i said looking around too. "GET DOWN!" Xephos screamed as a wave of arrows came above my head. "What the fuck?" Sips shouted as we all turned to face a schiltron of skeletons, all in full chain mail and deadly looking bows. I heard Zoey gulped audibly. "GRAB YOUR WEAPONS!" we heard Xephos say before the skeletons charged. i had a split second to grab my axe and strike it down on a skeleton's head. The bone cracking sound satisfied my rage of them attacking us and i charged at the others with my blood pumping. After my fifth kill i turned to see the others as i had none near me. Toby was running with Martyn as they both jumped fro tree to tree and jumping on the skeletons backs and punching them hard. Teep was firing arrows rapidly taking down the weak ones. Sips and Zoey had somehow teamed up by Sips throwing dirt, blinding the skeletons and Zoey shooting them with her laser hand thingmy-jig. Lalna was firing his portal gun at the ground making them fall through, to face Xephos who battled them. Rythian was shooting purple blasts from his hands melting the chain-mail off of his attackers then stabbing them with his katar. I got hit on the back by what felt like a bow and crashed to the ground grunting. A skeleton aimed at me somewhat grinning a fired. I closed my eyes waiting for impact that never came. i opened my eyes "What the hell?" Sjin was standing above me holding the arrow that was pointing its very sharp tip into my beard. the skeleton was on the floor well its ashes if i ad to give an description. Sjins beard curled into a smile "Come on lazy bones" he said dropping the arrow and helping Me up. "jeers" i said before running over to the rest of the group. Lalna shot the last one rest in the head sending it crashing to the ground, we all were breathing deeply as we slowly recovered for the attack "Why were we ambushed?" I said wiping the sweat off my brow. Lalna turned around in a circle seeing if there was anymore before facing all of us with a smirk.
