Ezra's POV
"Focus Ezra."
I hear Kanan say from behind me. I sigh. I've been back about a week now and it seems like I never left. Hera piloting, Sabine painting in her room, Zeb chasing Chopper, Kanan nagging me about training. "I'm working on it. It's been awhile since I've done any of this." I say. He sighs. "I know, but that's not my fault." It's not his fault. I ran. It's all on me.
I think he can see the sorrow on my face. He walks over and pats me on the shoulder. "It's okay. It might take you awhile to get back into the swing of things." I nod in agreement. I start to say something but stop. "What is it?" I turn and look to my left and see something in the distance. And that's all I remember before I black out.
You'll just keep running. Running away from all your problems and all your fears. You'll just keep running until you've pushed everyone that used to love you away. Your mother. Your Father. Your sister. Your new family. The man you call your father. They will all die because of you. You were born to be a Sith. Do you think your master will want to train a murderer?
I wake up in a dark room. I calm my breathing and see a shadow of a person. Kanan. "Kanan what happened I can't remember?" I ask. He doesn't move. "Why?" He asks. "Why what Kanan you're not making sense." "Why did you leave me Ezra? Didn't you know that it would hurt me?" I wince. I know it hurt him the most. "I wanted to protect you." "NO YOU LEFT BECAUSE YOU WANTED TO!" He shouts. I jump back. I can see his face now. It's tear stained. "You left me behind." Just then the door opened and what stepped in scared me to death. I see dark clothing and a red beam. Then I look at the eyes.
I know those eyes. I can only whisper one thing.
"Nightshade."
"Welcome." She says in a cold voice that could freeze hell over.
"I am the Inquisitors apprentice."
Note:
Sorry it's real short. I'll try and get another out soon.
