Ok first I am so so so sorry that it took me this long to upload. I've had writers block. Anyhoo comment on what you want to happen next and I'll choose one and put it in.
PS: The song is "Warrior" by Beth Crowley. I thought it fit Kanan and Ezra.
Ezra's POV
I wake up in my room and rub the sleep out of my eyes. I get up and walk to door. I hesitate before opening the door.
Where'd Kanan go? I think.
I shrug and exit my room and walk to the cockpit. Hera's the first one I see. "Hey Hera." I say sitting down. "Hello love, sleep well." I nod and sigh. She looks worried, but continues to work on the Ghost. I continue down the hall the Sabine's Room. I can spraying noises inside. She must be working on another painting. "Hey Sabine you seen Kanan?" I ask through the door. "Yea, he should be outside." I hear her muffled voice. "Thanks." I say walking towards the ramp.
Sabine was right, Kanan was standing outside the Ghost. "Hey Kanan." I say. He turns and smiles. "Hey kid. How're you doing?" I shrug and stand next to him. The sunrises on Lothal are the best. I smile as the sun warms my face. "Kanan can we do some Jedi training?" I suddenly ask." He looks confused." You sure you're ready?" He asks. I nod and we begin.
He pulls out his lightsaber and I do the same. I get into position and make my more. I wanted to prove to him that I'm fine. That we can go back to how things were before I left. I think how things were while we train. I was so happy. Why did I ruin that? "Ok that's enough for today." I deactivate my lightsaber and smile. "That's the first time I've seen you smile since you came back." I smile even wider. "Because I'm happy." We turn and walk back to the Ghost.
Hera's POV
I see Kanan and Ezra walking back to the Ghost after they finished training. It's too to have Ezra back. I smile and look to the horizon. The sun is almost above us. "Hey Hera." I hear Ezra's voice. "Do have anything for me to do?" I turn and smile. "I do Ezra. Can you go into town and get the stuff on this list?" I hand him the list along with a few credits and smile. He looks at it for a moment. "Sure Hera. I'll be back soon." He says leaving the cockpit. "It's great to have him back isn't it?" I hear Kanan ask. I nod. "I really missed him." I nod again and watch him run off into the distance.
Ezra's POV
I run through the fields of Lothal. I feel the wind whipping my hair back. I reach town in a matter of minutes. I look at the list and begin to find the right vendors. I fine the paints Sabine needed along with the bits and bobs Hera asked for. I get down to the last thing on the list and notice Hera gave me too many credits. I shrug and look for the last vendor. I find him in no time. "Two credits." I hand him the credits and leave. I look down into my hand and go to look for something for Kanan. I look for a while until I find the perfect thing. I pay for it and start to leave when I'm his with a blast of cold air. I turn to look behind me and my heart stops.
"Hello brother. Did you miss me?"
Again I'm sorry that it took me so long to upload and I'm sorry if this chapter seems short. Anyhoo what do you thing the perfect gift is? I'd love to hear what you think it is.
