*Ashley's Point of View*
I wonder what was wrong with Ryan. I'm also really excited about Friday. I've dreamt of this. But still, I hope Ryan is okay. This afternoon we're going to head out to the county where my grandmother lives. She isn't too far away, and she loves Ryan. She has a gigantic pit of dirt near her house. We love to make it all muddy and get in and have mud fights. Just have fun in it. We come back to her house filthy, but she lets us use the shower while she washes our clothes quickly. She only has one shower though, so I usually shower first so I can help her with the clothes. Last time after I got out and changed back into my clothes and walked out I heard her snickering and Ryan was blushing very hard. I wonder what they talked about? Apparently something very embarrassing for Ryan. When I asked about it, neither of them would tell me. All the first classes passed quickly, and soon it was lunch. I was starving. Me and Ryan quickly made our way to the lunch room. Just as we got there the group of stuck-up cheerleaders saw us. I loaded up my lunch tray and we passed them again to get to a table. "Oh my God, look at her tray. There's so much fatty food on it." One of them said. "Yeah, fatty, just like her." Another snickered. "She IS getting fat. Look her legs touch! Ewww!" Said a third. I lost all my appetite. Normally, I would confront them, probably by throwing it on them, but for some reason I was just hurt. My sister Katrina had also commented on how much I ate a few days ago. Mom quickly hushed her, but still. Ryan squeezed my hand. I'm really glad he was here. I did dump my food in the trash however. As we walked away, Ryan stopped and told me to wait there. He went and got a soda. He then sneaked up behind the girl who spoke first, shook the can, opened it, an poured it down the back of her shirt. "EEEEEK!" She shrieked and whipped around, but he was already gone. When she turned around, he threw the can at the second girl. I laughed when she screamed too. They never saw him either, so they can't report him! That improved my mood greatly, but I was still hurt. I hugged Ryan. "Thanks. I don't know why I didn't ignore them, I think it might have been what Katrina said." I'd told him about it. We tell each other everything. "Hey it's okay. They're just jealous because you're smarter." He hugged me back. Then, the bell rang and we went to the next class. I noticed he didn't get to eat either, but he never complained at all. The rest of the day was good though.
