A/n sorry for the long wait you guys! But the chapter is finally here so enjoy <3 <3

I sat swayin' my legs back and forth and began to continuously hit them against the wooden material of the large table.

Hummin' a tune I completely zoned out.

Mason worked for the police.

How could I ever trust him.

With my secrets.

With my passions.

With my lies.

With my love?

How could I've been so blind?

How could I not see that he was playin' me all along?

My life was a real big, great gag!

And nothin' else.

Nothin' would be able to change what's been done.

The past is the past but what the future holds? That's a whole 'nother-

"WOULD YOU STOP WITH THAT IRRITATING SOUND? IT'S DRILLING INTO MY BRAIN!"

My eyes shot open at the sudden outburst by the Joker and I was instantly brought back to his office room where I had been sittin' on his table.

"S-sorry puddin' didn't mean to..." I bit my lip nervously

"Didn't mean to? Didn't mean to?" He muttered under his breath while scribblin' on a piece of paper.

"I really am sorry Mistah J, I-"
"Would you do me a favor and get out?"

I was taken by surprise.

"What?" I gasped still sittin' on his desk, while I stopped swayin' my legs and hittin' them against the hard material I still stared at him continuously.

"You heard me. Get. Out." He spat

"But what about our-"
"Harley, Harley-dear just cause I love you that don't mean you gotta stay with me while I make up a brilliant plan to kill Bats."

"Y-you l-love me?" My heart skipped a beat and I could tell he instantly regretted what he had just said.

"Whatever." He mumbled not lookin' up from his sheet of paper.

I jumped down from the table and walked behind him slowly placin' my hands on his tense shoulders.

My head began to hurt.

A painful experience to my head that only got worse by the minutes.

Groanin' with the annoyin' poundin' in my head I tried to ignore it and began to massage Mistah J's shoulders.

His body instantly relaxed and he slumped in his chair exhailin' loudly, clearly in pleasure.

I smiled and continued with my job, my face inchin' towards his ear. "Say it again puddin'"

He rolled his eyes "those are just words pumkin'." He tried to find and excuse.

Somethin' he would believe in himself.

"Your actions speak louder than words Mistah J. That's why I am happy that you're keepin' yer part of the deal."

He scoffed and gently creased my left cheek until he planted a gentle kiss on it. "Seriously Harley, if you won't beat it daddy's gonna punish his darling girl and I can tell that she won't like it one bit."
