The truth

A/N: It's been a while. First of all, I'm not going to try and say I'll be consistent, as this clearly hasn't been the case. I can't predict the future, and it usually makes it so I don't update as often as I mean to. So I will continue writing the story fairly regularly, but there is no consistent schedule like I originally planned. What I mean is there won't be anything like a half a year hiatus, and I can confirm there will most definitely be at least one part a month. I'm sorry, but it gets hard to balance everything. This doesn't mean the story is ending yet, as I still have a good amount of ideas on where to take this. So I hope that you guys will continue reading this, and as always, let the story begin:

"So it all started a couple of weeks ago. You may not believe me, but it's a long story."

"Well we certainly have the time, now don't we?" Weiss said.

Can I kill her

NO. I don't want to hurt anyone.

Where's this coming from?

It's just that, after the whole incident with Ironwood, I don't really trust myself anymore.

What about the forest?

That was different. The Grimm are made to destroy everything, and even then, it was before I discovered you were pretty much homicidal.

Hey, just because I think about leaving a crater where Vale should be and ripping out Ironwood's very soul and making it lick my boot doesn't make me homicidal!

I... am not even going to respond to that. Anyway, I just think we shouldn't rely on violence to go through everything.

"(Y/N)!"

"Huh?"

"You started talking and zoned out, then your eye color keeps switching. Seriously tell us what's going on." Yang said.

"Oh, I'm talking to the guy in my head."

"His name is Shade and he apparently represents my dark side."

"Can you start from the beginning?"

For the next couple of minutes, you told them the tale of how before all this you were just a normal kid who got kidnapped and became a living weapon.

Ruby's POV:

"Okay so let me get this straight. You got kidnapped by General Ironwood, was tortured and experimented on for two weeks, your parents had their memories erased, and then got rescued by Ozpin and uncle Qrow?

"Yeah, that pretty much sums it up."

Weiss suddenly spoke up:

"How do we know if you're even telling the truth. For all we know you're just a crazy person who escaped the asylum. What evidence do you have? Where is this destructive power you possess? Shade is probably just a figment of your imagination isn't he? Why are you even here?"

"Weiss, calm down."

"NO, I'm sick and tired of children meddling where they shouldn't. I'm going to study."

"School's only been in session for a day right?" said (y/n), in a rather timid voice due to Weiss's outburst. Her response was a death glare as she exited the room, presumably to get ahead on our classes.

"Umm, she seems nice..."

"Yeah, well I'm sure she'll apologize."
