I entered my darkness form and managed to slightly keep up with Sapphire

Y/N: Were you always this fast?!

Sapphire: Been practicing, need to use some of my other strengths now that the Light is gone!

Y/N: Fair.

After a minute of just dashing through the streets we managed to meet up with Rwby under a highway

Y/N: So what's the plan to take that thing out

Ruby: We've come up with some team attacks

Sapphire: Wait, where are Frost and Jade?

*Meanwhile*

Frost: Where is the informant!?

DJ: Sir, I've been telling you for 2 hours! There is no informant, this is a night club, we don't know anything about anyone named Ironwood

Jade: Frost, do you think Sun might've tricked us?

Frost: What, Sun wouldn't trick us

*MEANWHILE AT A NOODLE STAND*

Neptune: So you made up the informant as well?

Sun: Yep, I enjoy these kinds of jokes. I'm kind of a trickster

Neptune: Yes... yes you are

Ya know, it's weird. We only seem to mention training during important moments like this, but none of our friends were there for it, and we only seem to bring it up when its only slightly relevant like this.

I mean, we never seem to banter like this for the generic training that we did at some time ago before the food fight yet after Ironwood thrashed us

Sapphire dashed straight into the path of the mech and slashed at its knees. He moved so fast it was almost as if he was teleporting around the darn thing. A flurry of slashes kept surrounding the mech before he delivered a final hit to the cockpit, and shot a gravity infused dust bullet inside. The two were knocked away from each other before the mech exploded.

Sapphire: Too easy!

???: Oh Really?

The voice came from up above us. Yet we all recognized it... Roman Torchwick

Roman: Hello everyone!

Yang: Is that...

Suddenly multiple of the same mech came crashing down in front of us. In a situation like this we should keep a cool head-

Sapphire: YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME

Or you know... there's that

Sapphire instantly charged only to be swatted away by a barrage of rockets that all the mechs fired at once

Yang: So... what did you learn today?

Sapphire(Hoarsely): Yang, I felt a majority of my bones break. I'm just going to lie down and ask you to kindly not

*RUBY POV*

I noticed that Y/N was instantly at my side

Y/N: Ruby, when I say now, I need you to use your speed to help me get to the other side

Ruby: Can't you teleport?

Y/N: It's not exactly something I can control. Last time I...well-

*Last Week*

Alright, you can now punch like a normal person

I concentrated my mind on performing the instantaneous movement only to find myself seeing propped up in the air. I looked down and saw that a lightpole was piercing me through my left leg and torso.

Y/N: This isn't as painful as I-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

*End of Flashback*

Y/N: Had an accident! Just a tiny accident and nothing else!

Ruby: Whatever you say, I'll wait for the signal

Roman: Now then, which of you is going to be the first to allow me to personally test out my new toy

I turned to Y/N wondering what his plan was, only to see him with one eye closed and his finger pointing somewhere. It's almost like he was pointing it at Yang. It's weird, by that angle it's almost like he was going to... oh no

Ruby: Are you going to-

Y/N:Yep

Ruby: Is that a good idea?

Y/N: We have about 5 giant robots coming at us. Considering how easily they took out Sapphire, I'm willing to get desperate. But to answer your question, this is a horrible idea that will have terrible repercussions I will regret years from now

He then charged his finger with some energy and fired it at Yang. Only for it to seemingly sail above her head and miss. At the same time the mechs fired a small barrage of projectiles against us

Yang: Huh? Y/N, what was that for-

She then paused in astonishment as she saw a couple of blond hairs fall from her head onto the ground

Y/N: Now Ruby!

Instantly it was almost like there was a heat wave across the whole area. Oh man. I lifted him above my head and dashed as fast as I could past Yang and right under the mechs. We were lucky they were were too big to notice. We were a few buildings away, and even though I could barely see Yang, I was still worried about her react-

Yang: RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUBYYYYYY! BRING HIM BACK HERE RIGHT NOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!

It was like there was a small explosion, as all the mechs including Roman's were sent back right to where we were, and Yang closely followed. She was burning with rage at Y/N. Her red eyes were giving the both of us a death glare

Y/N: Ruby. In the 90% chance I don't make it after this, I'm glad I got to meet you

Ruby: Awe, thanks bud

Yang: Ruby. Give him to me

Suddenly all the mechs stepped in between us, weapons armed and pointed at all of us

Roman: So blondie, now that all you let out that temper tantrum, ya ready to be put down?

Yang in her enraged state simply screamed before dashing forward and smashing his mech to pieces with one punch.

Ya know, I could really make a reference right now...

Zip it, I'm already going to die because of you

Roman was now lying injured thanks his new toy being busted on the first night out

Roman: Uh back up? Do your thing already!

All 4 Mechs then stepped forward and Yang stared them down.

Now this'll be interesting

A/N: Alright, one month after saying this thing's not dead and I finally update it! I've had this one drafted for a while and finally finished it. I'll start drafting the next one soon and will hopefully have it out it in the next couple of weeks. At least we can all agree that Volume 6 is going to be hype
