Burning Rage

Y/N POV:

The mechs slowly made their way towards Yang until they ended up standing off against each other. Each one towered over her, yet the heat she was giving off showed that she was more than ready to utterly rip them to shreds. 

Yang: Out. Of. My. Way

Roman: Shoot her already!

The mechs opened fire, but Yang's newfound rage speed was too quick for them. She bobbed and weaved through various bullets and rockets before uppercutting one from below into utter oblivion.

Roman: What?!

Y/N: Wow... your sister is really strong

Ruby: Yep.

Yang screamed as she was flying through the air. Her mane of hair was flaming as she punched another mech into pieces. Using the propulsion from the impact to leap through air and essentially drill through a third mech.

Y/N: Is that all her semblance?

Ruby: Yeah, ever since she was young she could always use her rage to break everything

Y/N: How'd she even discover that?

Ruby: She stubbed her toe... and then we lost a wall

The final mech attempted to punch Yang and she was knocked back, but this hair rage pushed her to such heights that she got up immediately and started barraging it with shells from her gauntlets.

Y/N: Man... I'm going to die when she's done aren't I

Ruby: I mean... she seems to be cooling down

She charged at the final mech before picking it up by the foot and slamming it back and forth, before swinging it away. The force of it all tore of its leg, and when the mech eventually made contact with a wall it shattered.

Roman: This... this didn't go as expected

Yang charged at Roman before a girl with brown and pink hair dropped down. She threw a punch but they shattered on impact. Everyone seemed confused until we heard a bullhead above and saw them inside while it was flying away

Roman: See ya later kiddies!

I can't believe he escaped, and the powers of that new girl. She seems dangerous

Yeah, she can turn into glass?

...Yes. That is clearly the important takeaway from the capabilities of her powers

How did it feel to watch your crush thrash on some giant weapons

Ruby: Um, Y/N?

Y/N: Yep?

Ruby: I don't think she's cooling down

I followed her gaze and saw that Yang was now approaching us. Rather than calm down after beating the ever living crap of a squadron of mechs, she was growing angrier by the second. Before I knew it she was in front of us, wielding a gaze that could melt a person.

Yang: You!

Y/N: Me?

Yang: I already warned you about my hair

Y/N: That... is true. But I-

Yang: BUT WHAT!

Y/N: Ummm... I knew it would make you angry. And you're strong when you're angry. You're also kind of terrifying when you're angry. So we needed something strong and big and scary to fight a bunch of robots
