A/N: Ok some goals I hope to hit to make this volume better than the last one

- Better Action Scenes

- More Romance With Ruby

- Other things, more specifically I'll attempt to try to get these things out quicker, though I'd suggest not to get your hopes up

Anyway, onto one of my personal favorite episodes from the actual series

Y/N POV:

Well, new semester, new chances to hopefully not have Ironwood screw everything up

If it makes you feel better, I gave him a good beating

We were all at the lunchroom ready to start the new semester, Ruby was making a splendid speech about how we should have one last day to hang out

Ruby: I'm talking about kicking off the semester with a bang

Yang: I always kick my semesters off with a Yang!

We all sighed, as we still found Yang's humor to be particularly... lacking in the wordplay department

Not gonna lie, that does detract from the hotness a bit

Really?

Well you know, like... .0001%

Out of nowhere a pie landed on Weiss's face

Frost: Well that was unexpected

Sapphire: Is this how a school normally operates?

Jade: Usually... Actually I'm not entirely sure myself

Y/N: Well let's hope it won't escalate

*5 minutes later*

Ruby: Justice will be swift. Justice will be painful. IT WILL BE DELICIOUS!

WBY: YEAH!

JNPR and RWBY charged into a food fight battle, while my new team and I were calmly sitting in a corner away from the fight

Sapphire: If it wasn't from the fact that I'm still sore after Ironwood, I would totally whoop them all

Jade: Yes yes, you're a strong boy

Sapphire: Don't patronize me!

Frost: I didn't even fight Ironwood, if it wasn't for Jade-

Jade and Sapphire then immediately glared into Frost's soul

Frost: Being so lovely, I wouldn't want to not fight?

Jade: Wow, I'm so charmed

Ruby: Y/N, join in!

Y/N: Umm, I'm fine over here right now

Ruby: If you don't, you need to buy me cookies everyday for the next week

Y/N: Well... there's no legally binding contract at work right now son, how would you uphold that?

Ruby then charged into me tackling me to the ground

Ruby(In the most quiet, venomous, yet pure voice possible): Cookies

Y/N(deciding whether that was cute or scary): Ya can't argue with that 

Well then, let's see if your moves have improved since the start of the year

Wait, I just realized, I haven't fought anyone yet
