Chapter 14: Soju

Kevin's POV

We had actually had a wonderful conversation on our way to the restaurant. It was pretty awesome! me and Arely have a lot in common! It's so crazy! I love how we happened to bump into each other. it's like total fate!

My face was burning hot. she was smiling at me, laughing at my jokes and she even held my hand. But she would let go right away. was she embarrassed or was it something else?

I didn't even want to go to the restaurant anymore. I just want to walk with Arely and talk. Because I liked how she was getting comfortable with me. she was saying a bunch of joke and laughing at them. yes laughing at her own jokes.

Haha she's so cute. I could feel my face burning hot. I wonder how red my face was. and if she could see my cheeks.

We enter the restaurant and take a seat. It was pretty empty. good. I have something to tell her. and this time I won't mess up. this time she will hear me and she, hopefully, say she likes me too~~ hehe im blushing/smiling like a maniac.

We order our BBQ and now we wait. I began to ask Arely about random stuff, hoping she won't get bored. this day need to be an awesome filled day.

When the food finally arrived Arelys face lit up. So adorable. we then we began to talk just as we were before the food arrived. it seems she's in love with kpop. I'm getting a bit jealous how she's going crazy over this singer guy. So I was right to worry over kris and her. thank god he's gone now.

"Hey ill be back I must go to the wash room."

"Okay."

I stand up and walk away. I splash some cold water on my face. I hope the redness in my cheeks will go away. I look up at the mirror and still my blushing cheeks are visible.

I shake my head thinking about ugly and nasty stuff. Alexander and Aj being cute was the first thing that popped in my head. my red cheeks automatically went back to normal.

I step out of the bathroom and see Arelys head on the table. is she sleeping? as I walk towards her I see she's smiling and giggling very lightly.

"What's wrong?" I asked

She says nothing.

"Hey Arely!" I tap her shoulder

Again nothing.

"Arely!"

"Aish what do you want."

"Are you okay?"

"Of course! you're so dumb Kevin!" she smacked me.

What's up with her. I look around her and see a big cup next to her. I grab it and smell it. Soju!!! she drank soju! oh god. Shes drunk.oh I can't take her to her friends they'll think I'm a bad influence on her. aish.

I pay the bill and look down at her. What should I do? oh I know. I lifted her and placed her on my arms. bridal style.

I walk out with people staring at me weirdly. Yes I'm carrying the girl I like bridal style. wait what am I really carrying the girl I have a huge crush on.

I wave a taxi down. I slide her inside and sit next to her. I give the driver then directions and he drives off. I lay back and close my eyes.

My eyes shot open. I look to my left and see Arely's head on my shoulder. My heart is pounds like crazy inside my chest.

Oh mr.cabdriver please hurry~~~!!! when the car stopped I was relived but sad at the same time. I liked how she leaned on my shoulder. but I felt like my heart was going to burst out of my chest. I pay the driver and, once again I hold her bridal style.

I had asked the driver to drop me off at the corner of my house. because my mom would kill me if she found out I brought a girl back home. but she's drunk. so I had no choice. or would it be worst because she's drunk?

I'm scared for my life.i slip through the side of the house and head towards the garage. im so glad i had asked my parents to make the garage into a room. i grabbed the key under the carpet and slid inside, as quietly as possible. i went straight for the bed, laying down Arely.

"yah what are you doing?"

"I'm helping you."

"Oppaaa~~~~"

"What?"

"Are you jealous?" she asked

"Of what?"

"Of Xander oppa~~"

What is she talking about? Jealous? Xander?

"You saw me and Xander about to kiss."

What? I froze. she was really going to kiss him. I knew it wasn't one sided. she does like him back. I swallow back my sadness and clear my throat. She places her hand oh my arm. she smiled up at me. next thing I knew I was laying down next to Arely.

"But you don't have to worry oppa."

She placed her hand on my waist and hugged me tightly. this is crazy. this is really happening.

"Why shouldn't I." minus well say the truth and hopefully tomorrow she wont remember this.

"Kevin you're so handsome."

"thank you."

"I wish you hadnt seen me and Alexander."

"why?"

"because I like you dummy."

I sit up, my mouth completely open. did she just say that? Am I just hearing things? am I going crazy?

"What did you say?"

"I said that I l---"

I look at her and see her head resting on my chest. she asleep. did she really say that? I should ask her tomorrow. well now I know she'll pick me and not Xander.
