Nico decide to sneak up on Reyna late at night in her study. He slowly opened the door and found Reyna snoozing on the table, while a mountain of paper work lay before her. Nico smiled to see her looking peaceful, not as murderous and war-like as when she was awake.
He walked towards her, making every step light so he wouldn't wake her. He stared at her once more, and Reyna's face seemed to grow more beautiful as he stared at it longer.
Still smiling and heart pounding, he brushed a strand of her hair behind her ear. When she started to shiver a little, he searched for her cloak, which was lying on the couch, and draped it all over her slumbering form.
After Nico left, Reyna opened one eye and held her cloak closely to her. She smiled, rubbing the sleep from her eyes and going back to work.
