"Ha! Go, Annabeth!"
Annabeth slashed and parried with a scared looking Percy, who looked like he was determined never to take his girlfriend seriously. Plus, with Annabeth holding that sword? She looked totally hot and super scary.
"Come on, Percy. Fight me!" she shouted, attacking at a faster pace. Percy barely avoided her jabs.
Lou Ellen and Cecil were in the arena, watching the couple fight. Leo, Piper, Jason, Frank, Hazel, Nico and Reyna were there too, picking sides and cheering. Lou Ellen decided to side with Annabeth.
Cecil suddenly turned to face Lou Ellen, and said, "I'm betting on Percy. How 'bout you?"
"I think Annabeth's gonna win this one. Look at her! She's so amazing."
Cecil narrowed his eyes and smiled mischievously. "Let's bet on this!"
"Alright, then!" Lou Ellen agreed confidently. "And what if I win, hmm?"
Cecil smiled at her, and her heart were doing jumping jacks inside her chest.
"Then the loser is all yours." he said in a low voice, his gaze so intense it was enough for Lou Ellen to melt inside her shoes.
