Leo just loved being in Bunker 9.

The whole place just relaxed him. Bunker 9 felt like a soothing foot massage. Plus, there were a lot of things to tinker with. The Archimedes scrolls and all the amazing stuff in his workplace. And he was free from all the organic life forms outside. McShizzle seriously needed a break.

And to be frank, his head kind of ached because Calypso occasionally bopped him one every time he said something stupid. He just couldn't imagine Percy's headache if he ended up with Calypso.

Leo fished out some screwdrivers and started making a miniature car out of the scraps of metal scattered on the table. He brought out a tiny hammer and started pounding with it.

Dang, who knows where Calypso went? Leo said he needed to get some sleep, but the truth was he went here to get some alone-time. Leo was starting to be guilty that he left and lied to her. . .

Calypso had a harsh life in Ogygia. Every time a hero came, she'd fall in love with him and suddenly he'd leave her alone again. Then Leo came and promised her he would get her out of that island, and he did. But now, he was leaving her again. Leo didn't want her to suffer again.

"Looking for someone?" a voice said. Leo knew he'd be dead meat.

He slowly whirled around and saw Calypso, wearing an orange camp shirt and workout shorts. Man, she looked so amazing. Her arms were crossed, her cinnamon-colored hair tied back into a messy bun. Her expression was unreadable.

"Hey! Sunshine!" Leo greeted nervously. Calypso stepped closer, looking slightly cross.

"Look, I'm sorry." Leo stared right into her almond-shaped eyes, and his heart did a somersault. But he felt really guilty.

"I shouldn't have lied to you." he said to he quietly. "I'm never going to do that again -- I swear --"

Calypso tackled him with a hug. He inhaled her scent, and it was addicting. She pulled away, looking at him with so much intensity it took all of Leo's willpower not to soil his pants or set his whole body on fire.

"You don't have to be sorry, Leo." she said to him softly."You know I love you and I'll always forgive you. You saved me from my curse."

"Yeah, l--" Leo felt an urge to kiss her lips right now, but he was afraid he'll get turned into a scrawny lizard or something. She was a sorceress, after all.

"It's fine with me," Calypso said, smiling and blushing fiercely. Realization hit him like a brick.

"Wait, you can read my mind?" he asked incredulously. She nodded happily.

"And I can also track you, so don't ever think about running away from me ever again." she said playfully.
Leo laughed.

"Okay, you asked for this."

Leo cupped her face gently, and even though they were covered in grime she didn't care. That's what Leo loved the most about her.

He leaned in and kissed her gently, and he felt Calypso holding his waist. Leo was very thankful for the breath mints.

He slowly departed, and his chest felt like it had Mr. D partying inside it. She smiled at him so sweetly, it could warm him up in second. Literally.

Calypso laughed. Then Leo noticed his nose was on fire.

Gods, that was so embarrassing. "I love you, mama sita."

"Hey!"
