Chapter 12: Ichinose and the Interview

Author's Note: I'm so happy right now because my favourite rugby league team won a tournament!Anyway I'm realllyyyy sorry for the slow update!

I slowly walked onto the stage and sat on a couch with Starish. I felt the audience and camera watching my every move. 'So (Y/N), how's life with all these boys been?' Yuki asks. I kind of just sit there for a moment but then I feel Ichinose's hand on mine, hidden under the folds of my dress. 'It's been good... I guess. It's very... difficult,' I say with a laugh, the audience laughs too 'I mean, all these boys have such different personalities and sometimes we clash but other times we get along like we've known each other forever.'
'Well you certainly seem comfortable with Starish.' Yuki remarks. 'Yeah, I am. But I do like Heavens and Quartet Night too, it's just how we met was quite... I don't know how to explain but I do hope I'll get to know all these boys a lot more.' I reply more fluently now as I feel Ichinose gently rubbing his thumb in circles on my hand, I'm happy that no one can see our joined hands.

'Well Quartet Night,' Yuki says turning to them 'how did you meet (Y/N)?' Reiji laughs 'We stole her from Heavens!' 'I pulled her into our limo when she went to go with Heavens and we drove off.' Camus says. 'You kidnapped me!' I protest and the audience roars with laughter. 'How did you meet Heavens then?' Yuki asks me. 'Quite simply, they came up and Eiichi introduced them.' I reply and I see Eiichi give me a wink, Ichinose's hand tightens on mine.

'Oh and how did you meet Starish?' Yuki asks. 'Well that is an interesting story, I met them all separately at a masquerade ball so I didn't know who they were until the next day when Nanami introduced them to me.' I say. 'Wow that is interesting,' Yuki says 'but how are you going with managing these bands as well as singing with them?' 'Well it's a lot of work, managing them I mean. And singing with them.. well I didn't know that I was an idol... Shining surprised me with that... and this interview.' I reply laughing nervously, thankfully the audience joins in.

'That is Shining for you,' Yuki says 'Heavens...' she then begins asking all the boys questions as I sit there. At one point Ichinose whispers in my ear 'You've done great (Y/N), it's nearly over.' Soon Yuki says 'Thank you Starish, Heavens, Quartet Night and (Y/N)! We can't wait to see you all at the decisive concert and after the project!' We smile and the director yells cut. 'That was great guys, you all did awesome. Especially you (Y/N)!' I blush and thank her, Ichinose lets go of my hand and we head backstage.

I finally let out a sigh of relief but I'm suddenly pulled into a big bear hug. 'You were amazing (Y/N)-chan and you look so cute tonight!' Natsuki says. The boys all nod in agreement 'An angel like you deserves to join us.' I hear Eiichi say as I pull away from Natsuki's warm embrace. I glare at him but suddenly I hear Ai say 'He's right.' Everyone looks towards Ai who explains 'She's stayed with Quartet Night and Starish at Shining's the whole time. She manages Heavens too and I think she deserves to stay with them for a while.'

'No!' I hear several voices say at once. I feel Syo grab me 'She's staying with us, she's our shining star!' He growls, I'm then yanked from Syo. 'No, she is our queen and will stay with us.' Ranmaru says as he tightens his grip. I push myself off him and angrily say 'I'm going with Heavens,' I then turn to them 'I'll come stay with you after I get some things from my room at Shining's.' I then walk off.

I sit on a step outside as the cool air caresses my bare skin. 'You know we're just worried.' Ichinose says as he comes down and sits beside me. 'Yeah.' I mumble, not looking at him. I slightly shiver, the breeze is nice but it's slightly cold since I'm wearing only a small dress. I feel a warm jacket being draped across my shoulders and I look over to Ichinose. 'Thanks.' I say with a small smile.

He takes my hand in his 'Please, promise me that you'll come back to us. Promise me that you won't end up with them.' He says as he stares into my (Y/EC) eyes. I squeeze his hand 'I promise, I would never leave you...' I realise what I've said and add 'and Starish and Quartet night, you boys are like my family.' He smiles and then nervously says '(Y/N)...' 'Yes Ichinose?' I ask. 'Would you like... want to... go out sometime... maybe...' he mutters, I've never seen him so nervous before. 'If you're asking me on a date Ichinose Tokiya, then I would love to.' I reply and he smiles.

Suddenly the door opens from behind and I'm surrounded by the Starish and Quartet Night boys. 'Are you okay (Y/N)?' Otoya asks. 'We don't want you to go (Y/N)-chan.' Reiji says. 'Please don't leave us princess.' Cecil pleads. 'Guys I'm okay, it will just be a few days then I promise I'll be back.' I say with a smile. 'You better be' Ranmaru growls 'otherwise...' he trails off. 'Otherwise what?' I ask him, I don't think he's ever acted this way around me. 'We need you (Y/N)! We won't be able to do the decisive concert and project without you!' Syo says.

I get up, hand Ichinose his jacket and head over to where a taxi waits. 'I'll miss you all, but I'll be back soon!' I say with a smile as I step into the taxi. I smile to myself as I realise that I've finally found a home.
