Chapter 15: The Plan

I tossed and turned all night, trying my hardest to sleep. So I decided to get up and make myself a midnight snack, well four in the morning snack. I headed to the small kitchen near my room with my diary and pencil under my arm. I put the kettle on and started doodling as I waited for it to boil. I almost jumped when someone else entered the kitchen.

'(Y/N)?' A sleepy Eiichi mumbled. His hair and glasses are disheveled and he is only wearing black sweatpants, I try to ignore his exposed chest. I feel slightly insecure with my messy bun, black crop top and grey sweatpants 'Hey Eiichi, what are you doing up?' I ask. He sits down at the counter 'I've been having a bit of trouble sleeping, I think I'm stressed with all the pressure from my father and the triple SSS decisive concert. What about you?' He mumbles. 'I never really sleep well, I'm an over thinker. I'll make you some tea.' I say as the kettle finishes boiling.

I make us both green tea and I sit down beside him. He sips at his tea and says 'Have you tried anything to help you sleep better? Like sleeping pills or sharing your bed with someone?' He says and winks. I shove him jokingly 'No, I doubt they'd work.' I say. He places his arm around my shoulders 'You really should try something (Y/N), I heard Ichinose Tokiya once collapsed and got sick from exhaustion when he was working as HAYATO and attending Saotome Academy.' He says. 'Really? Poor Ichinose...' I say. 'I don't want the same thing to happen to you.' He says as he finishes his tea.

He takes the two empty cups and places them in the sink before he holds out his hand to me. 'C'mon, I'll walk you back to your room.' I take his hand and he leads me to where I'm staying. He swings open the door and I follow him inside. 'Aren't you going back to your room?' I ask. 'Nope, I want to try getting a goodnights sleep too.' He says as he shuts the door.

Usually I would have some sarcastic comeback but I just can't be bothered. So l lie down under the covers and snuggle into my pillow. I hear the light switch click off and feel Eiichi lie down beside me. He goes to wrap his arms around me but I glare at him 'You said share a bed, that means sticking to your side Mr.' I say. 'Fine, but I won't stop you if you end up rolling on top of me during the night.' He says flirtatiously. 'Shut up and go to sleep Otori.' I say. 'Goodnight (Y/N).' He says as I drift into unconsciousness.

To my dismay I wake up with my head on Eiichi's chest and my arm wrapped around his torso. He continues to sleep but I hear his phone beep because he's gotten a text message. I grab his phone from the bedside table and see that he's received a message from his father. I really don't want to snoop... actually I do. I open the message which reads Son I want to see you in my office, we need to discuss the girl. Does that mean me? I look through the older messages and just lie there shocked. I look at Eiichi's sleeping face, he tricked me.

I immediately get out of bed and call a taxi. I shove a couple of things into my suitcase and put on some shoes, not bothering to change my outfit. Only then does Eiichi stir '(Y/N), what are you doing?' He mumbles, half-asleep. 'Leaving.' I snap back. He wakes up then and notices his open phone beside him. '(Y/N)! Please let me explain!' He says as he jumps out of bed and tries to block my path to the doorway. 'Move Eiichi.' I growl. '(Y/N) please, I'm sorry.' He begs. 'Move!' I say louder and this time he does. I run out the door and to the awaiting taxi. Leaving any trace of that devil and his stupid friends behind.

I run into Shining's, my face streaked with tears. I run until I find the studio where Starish and Quartet Night are and walk through the door. Almost everyone stands up and asks if I'm okay when they see me. I'm suddenly wrapped in a hug, at first I think it's Natsuki but I realise It's Ichinose. I sob into his chest as he gently strokes my back.

I hear several voices behind muttering how they'll kill Heavens. I pull away from Ichinose to look at them all. Syo, Ren and surprisingly Masato, Camus and Ranmaru's faces are burning with anger. The other boys just give me shocked yet concerned looks. Reiji comes over and grabs my hand, leading me to sit down. 'What happened (Y/N)-chan?' He says gently.

And so I explain through sobs 'I got to know them... they were all actually okay... especially Eiichi. H-he befriend me... and this morning... I woke up and found the text messages in h-his phone. Him and his father w-were trying... to get me... to fall for Eiichi... or the other Heavens members... so that I would stay with Heavens... and the sad truth is... I think I was.' Cecil puts his arm around me 'It's okay princess.' He says and I put my head on his shoulder.

Suddenly Syo gets up 'That's it! I'm going to Raging's studios and I'm going to hurt them for hurting my girl!' He growls. He begins to walk towards the door with Ren, Masato, Camus and Ranmaru behind him. 'No!' I say and they all stop, turning towards me I continue 'Please don't cause more problems, I don't want Starish and Quartet Night to get in trouble.' Ranmaru angrily punches the closest wall and he angrily says 'If they ever even come near you again though, I'll break them.' He goes and sits back down.

Otoya gets up 'I'll go talk to Shining, you need the day off.' He leaves with Ai silently following behind him. Natsuki now sees this as an appropriate time to steal me from Reiji and Cecil so he can hug me. I gratefully return his hug as he says 'Please don't cry my cutie.' Otoya and Ai return, 'Shining allowed you the day off. But according to my data, almost everyone else is busy.' Ai says. I snuggle into Natsuki more 'Please don't go guys.' I mumble. 'I've got the day off and I think we should have a movie marathon.' I hear Syo say from behind me. I pull away from Natsuki and look at him. 'I've got nothing today either.' Cecil says.

I spend the rest of the day snuggled between Cecil and Syo as we watch The Prince Of Fighting movies in Ai, Natsuki and Syo's room. Cecil asks a lot of questions which makes me laugh and Syo get angry. We eat popcorn and joke around with each other. That night, Cecil leaves and Natsuki returns with Ai. The three roommates head to bed and I decide to try sleeping on their couch.

I sadly miss a warm body beside mine so I silently creep over to where Natsuki sleeps, I gently poke his shoulder. His sleepy eyes half open '(Y/N)-chan? What's wrong?' He mutters sleepily. 'I can't sleep... c-can I sleep with you?' I ask. 'Of course.' He says, moving over. I slide in next to him, he wraps his arms around me so I'm snuggled against his chest, his head resting on my shoulder. 'Sleep well (Y/N)-chan.' He says, his warm breath gently caressing my neck. 'Goodnight Natsuki.' I say before I drift into a peaceful sleep feeling safe and warm.
