Chapter 40: Again?

Van takes my hand and pulls me away from Kira, into his arms. 'Time for me to be with my beautiful girl.' He says. Kira just gives him a blank look so Van drags me off. We walk until we reach a water ride, the boats are in the shape of pink hearts and they float into a heart shaped tunnel. Oh gods, a love tunnel. Van helps me into the boat before he gets in beside me, his hand stays firmly on my waist and his other hand grabs mine. 'Lets have fun.' He says with a grin before the ride begins. The whole ride is filled with me blushing at the comments that Van whispers in my ear. When we emerge from the tunnel he helps me back onto dry land. I think I see Eiji's outline in the distance but I'm suddenly pulled against Van. He tilts my face so I'm looking up at him 'Please choose me beautiful.' He says as his head tilts so that his lips meet mine. The kiss is warm and tender yet full of passion.

He pulls away with a wink just as Eiji reaches us. 'C'mon (Y/N)!' He says with his classic smile. I follow him away from Van and towards a roller coaster. 'Oh god, this looks scary.' I mutter. 'No this looks so fun! Please (Y/N)!' He pouts. 'Fine.' I say defeated and he grins, taking my hand we step into the carriage. I spend the whole ride screaming as I clutch to Eiji and he smiles with delight. When we get off I say to him 'I am never doing that again.' 'Even if I'm there?' He questions. 'Perhaps...' I'm cut off as I find his warm lips pressed against mine. I barely have time to respond as he pulls quickly away. 'I-I'm sorry...' He mutters as Shion comes up to us. 'My turn.' Shion says as he takes my hand and drags me away leaving a speechless Eiji.

Shion takes me to the top of an empty grass hill, here the view of Tokyo city at night alongside the stars can be seen. 'It's beautiful.' I exclaim. Shion lets go of my hand and lies down on his back at the peek of the hill silently, I decide to join him. 'The stars are amazing aren't they?' He says suddenly from beside me. 'Yeah they are.' I mutter. My hand lays on the grass between us and I suddenly feel his hand on mine. 'I told you that's everything is written in the stars. I still believe that but I believe also that the stars brought us together.' He lets go of my hand and rolls so that he's hovering above me. 'I also know that you're the only star in my sky.' He says before he leans down and kisses me. The kisses is warm, his lips move gently against mine as if try to show what I mean to him. He breaks away too soon. 'The others are coming. Please (Y/N), consider my feelings.' He says abruptly as he gets up and then helps me to my feet too.

The other boys appear then '(Y/N), fireworks are about to start!' Eiji says happily. I smile at him and turn towards the sky as the first firework explodes. Together we stand on the hill as the bright colours light up the sky and my heart yearns to make a decision.

When we get back, the boys all walk me to my room and stand awkwardly in the doorway as I walk in. 'Errrmmm I'm going to bed now...' I say, feeling just as awkward. I few of the boys mutter goodnight before they walk off to their own rooms but I find Van, Yamato and Eiichi still standing there. 'If it's okay... I'd like to be alone tonight... please.' I say to them. 'If you're sure, goodnight then beautiful.' Yamato says and walks off. Van eyes Eiichi easily but says 'Goodnight (Y/N)-chan.' And with a wink, he too walks off leaving a worried Eiichi standing in the doorway. 'I thought you don't sleep well when you're alone?' He questions. 'I don't. But I have decisions to make and sharing a bed with someone will probably confuse me more.' I reply. He walks over then and pulls me into an embrace, I have never seen Eiichi act this kind before. 'Goodnight (Y/N), I hope I am the decision you make.' He whispers in my ear before he lets go and walks out, closing the door behind him.

I sigh, why can't I just make a decision. I lick my shoes off and hop into bed, not bothering to change. 'Goodnight.' I whisper to no one as I snuggle into the pillow and fall into a restless sleep.
