Chapter 9

Rose's POV  2 months later
Danny had just been released from the hospital after being there for nearly two months, so me, Grace, Danny and dad were all going for some shaved ice. Yay! We were all sitting around the table eating our shaved ice when I remembered something. I had forgotten my get-well present to Danny in the car! I stood up quickly. "I'll be right back!" I heard my dad call my name but I ran towards the car anyways. I got to the car but there was a man leaning against it. I had never seen this man before. "Can I help you?" I asked. "I did say we would meet again didn't I, Rose?" That's when I realised who he was. The mailman. He took a hold of my arm and pulled me roughly towards him. I'm sure it's gonna bruise. "DAAAAMPGHFD!!!" My scream became muffled as he put his hand over my mouth. 
Steve's POV
"DAAAAMPGHFD!!!" Could be heard all over the parking lot and the beach. That sounded like Rose. I jumped up from the table with Danny on my six as we ran to the car only to find Rose being dragged away by some guy. "Hey!" He looked at us. "Five o! Let the girl go and interlock your fingers on your head! Now!" He just grinned at us. "Now why would I do that commander McGarrett?" That's when I recognised him. He was the mailman. We still hadn't gotten his name but I hope that we get him not so that we can figure out what the hell he wants! "Because I say so!" I said. He let Rose go and she started to run towards us. When she reached us, Danny pulled her in to his side, one arm wrapped around her protective and one arm still pointing the gun at the suspect. "Now lower the weapon!" I said taking small steps forward. "Okay, okay." He said. He bent down to place the gun on the ground, but quickly stood up and placed the gun under his chin. "Good bye, Commander McGarrett and detective Williams. Rose, I hope you know that I never meant to hurt you. I will always love you!" He said right before he pulled the trigger. The gunshot and Rose's scream could be heard all over the beach and alarmed Kono and Chin who had just arrived.
Kono's POV
Me and Chin had just gotten out of the car and had started to walk towards the beach when we heard a gunshot and Rose scream. We looked at each other and pulled out our guns and ran in the direction where the sound had come from. We arrived there in no time and let me say that the scene in front of us was quite gruesome. A guy was lying on the ground with his head blown of and his gun still in his hand. Steve had blood splatter all over his face and Danny was hugging Rose while she sobbed. I heard footsteps behind me and quickly turned around pointing the gun at whoever was behind me. When I realised it was Grace, I lowered my gun and pulled her into a hug so she wouldn't see what was going on.
Chin's POV
As Kono hugged Grace, I walked up to Steve giving him a napkin to get all the blood of his face. He wiped his face and went to take Rose from Danny as Danny took his daughter from Kono. I hugged Kono as she too started to sob a bit since the dead guy was only a kid.
Steve's POV
I took Rose from Danny as he went to Grace. I hugged her tight as she sobbed. "It's gonna be alright, you're okay." I whispered to her as I stroked her hair.

A/N
Hello everyone! It's been awhile since I posted a chapter but I decided I was gonna take a break from writing. But I promised my self that when this book reached 600, was I gonna start writing again. Right now are we at 651 and I hope that you actually like this book. I'm thinking of not continuing with this book because I don't know if anyone actually like what I'm writing.
