Steve's POV
My alarm clock went of at 6 am. I groaned and rolled over to shut it of. I got dressed and walked down the stairs to make breakfast. I made eggs and bacon. And some toast. I check the time. 6:30. Time to wake Rose up. I walk up the stairs again. I walk down the hall to her room. "Rose,it's time to get up."
Rose's POV
I hear my dad talking to me. I tiredly opened my eyes. Why is he even waking me up? It's a Saturday. "Why are you in my room?" "I'm waking you up." "I noticed that but I don't have any school today." "I know so you're coming with me to work." "Ugh... Dad I'm 13 I can take care of myself." "I know, I am just taking precautions. So get dressed and eat breakfast. We're leaving in 20 minutes." "Fine." He walked out. I got dressed in a black tank top and some blue shorts since we live in Hawaii and its very hot. I did my long brown-blond hair in a French-braid and put on some light makeup. When I had looked myself over in the mirror and decided that I looked good enough I went downstairs to eat breakfast. We were now in my dads blue pickup on our way to the Palace. "Dad?" "Mm?" "Why do I need to come with you to work like every weekend?" "You know I'm just taking precautions if someone that hates me or wants revenge on me decides takes it out on you." "I know, I know." I said when we rolled up on the parking lot. We walked through the large glass doors and I heard familiar chatter and knew that the rest of the team probably was already here. "Hi guys." They stopped talking and turned around to look at the person who spoke to them. "Rose!" Danny said sounding happy as ever. I got hugs from everyone and then they had to go to a scene. "You stay here, Rose alright? You don't leave this office." "Yes, Sir" I said when he walked out of the office. Time passed and I was bored, right when I was about to sneak out of the room the door opened and a young boy who looked to be about 18 steeped in wearing a mailman outfit. I walked up to him and asked, "Can I help you?" "Eh.. yea I'm looking for a Steve McGarret?" "Oh he's not here but I can take it." "And you are..?" "His daughter." "Okay, you need to sign here and here." I did as I was told and he was on his way. Right before he went out the door he said something that sent chills down my spine. He said,
"See you another time, Rose."
