~Kerra P.O.V.~

I got in my car and slowly drove home I can't believe Travis just broke up with me First I lost my Bestfriendd and now my boyfriend and It's because of the same reason maybe their right maybe I am changing.

I pulled up in my driveway and got out the car my mom car was there. I tried to hold my tears till I got in my room but as soon as I walked in I seen her on the couch reading a magazine she took a glance at me then back at the magazine, I broke down I ran over to her and hugged her and she surprisingly hugged back. "Mom I'm so sorry for everything I'm sorry for talking to you like that and cursing at you I wasn't at the right state of mind." I started crying even more "Please forgive me ?"

"No , Kerra I'm sorry for controlling you and making you do the the things you didn't want to do I just wanted you to have a good life and not worry about anything." She looked at me and tears were falling out her eyes. "I knew you didn't like Chris since the first day I introduced you guys but I only made you guys date because I knew he was going somewhere in life and I wanted you to be right next to him having a good life with him and I'm sorry for that." She pulled me in a tight hug and I feel some weight off my shoulders but it was some still there.

The door opened and my Dad walked in and looked at us confused so I stood up. "Daddy I'm sorry for talking to you like that and disrespecting you."

He pulled me in a hug. "Kerra I'm sorry for almost hitting you and threatening you , your my baby girl and I did you like and that hurts me I wouldn't do anything like that to you anymore." He pulled back and looked at me "But if you curse at us again-"

"I won't I promise." He smiled and gave me a kiss on my forehead. I turned my head towards my Mom and she was smiling from ear to ear "I'm going to go do my homework."

"Alright dinner will be ready in a hour." I nodded and went upstairs I sighed a breath of relief. I put my bag down and looked for my homework but I found a crumpled up paper making me open it and saw that it was my test that I failed. I can't believe I failed a perfectly easy test. I sighed and sat down I can't believe I quit the track team I know I was changing I just didn't want to believe it I didn't want people to be right about me but now that I think about it I changed and it wasn't for the good of me.

~Next Day~

I walked through the school and people was starring at me I shyly looked down and tried not to look at any of them I know people are talking about me non-stop and I hate that but It's my own fault I walked in first period and sat in the back and took my notes.
"Hey Kerra" Ilooked up and it was Brittani "Thanks."

I looked at her confused. "For what ?" I asks.

"Putting some sense into Chris, that night when y'all talked I guess, he came to my house and started taking responsibility for his child. " She gave me a small smile and walked off to her seat. I didn't even know I did that.

I was in Ms.Jonhson class and I was sitting in the Back thinking about that test if I don't re-do I'm gonna be really upset. The bell rung and I walked to up her. "Yes Kerra ?" She looked up at me fixing her glasses.

"Can I re take my test please ?" She sighed and looked at me.

"Kerra you know I dont-"

"Please Ms.Johnson ?" I was begging to retake this test.

"Alright Fine but only because your one of my best students." I smiled and nodded. "You can come back after school-"

"Can I do it right now ?"

"Don't you wanna go eat lunch ?" I shook my head No. I didn't really feel like getting stares from everybody.

"Nah, I'm good." I smiled and she nodded and gave me the test and I went back to my seat.

Minutes later she was grading my test and she looked up at me and smiled "Good Job Kerra." She handed me the test and I had a 100. I smiled and walked out the class I took my phone out and then bumped into someone making my phone fall out my hand I hope It's not cracked.

"My bad Kerra." I looked up and it was Chris he bent down and picked up my phone and handed it back to me "It's not cracked." I took it from his hand.

"Thanks." I slightly smiled and he chuckled.

"What No 'Stay out of my way Chris' or anything. " I chucked and looked down.

"Chris I'm sorry for doing that to you when you was only trying to help me and I'm sorry for hurting you and doing you like that. " He smiled and nodded.

"It's okay and you good I just didn't want to see you fuck up your future you to smart for that. " I smiled at him and nodded. "Friends?" He put his hand out and I gladly took it.

"Friends. " We both smiled. "Oh , and tell your Mom I'm so sorry. " He laughed

"Yeah she still pissed about that and she was even more pissed at me when I told her that baby Is mine."

"Yeah I heard that you taking care of your responsiblities." He chuckled and let go of my hand and stuffed his hands in my pocket.

"Yeah I know but I'll see you later." I smiled and nodded and he walked away.

I walked outside to the Track and walked up to them. "Hell Nah. Why you out here ?" Jaycee said while standing up.

"I came to apologize to you guys for abandoning you. " They all stood up and looked at me.

"And? " Ashley said looking me up and down.

"And I would like to get back on the track team." They didn't say nothing they just looked at me. "I'm begging you."

"Nuh uh boo boo begging is on your knees. " Jaycee looked at me with a straight face I chuckled and got on my knees. "Now say Jaycee is the finest red bone you ever met. "

I laughed. "Jaycee is the finest red bone I ever met."

"Now Say mixed are the best." Ashley joked too laughing.

"Mixed girls are the best."

"Say Darkskins do it best. " Ammie jumped in and said.

"Darkskins do it best. " They all smiled and I looked at them. "Can I get Back on the team ?"

"Girl you got back on the team as soon as you stepped foot on the Track. " Ammie said while helping me up and I looked at them.

"Thanks guys."

"No problem, but if you do it again I'ma fucking cut you. " Jaycee looked at me with a straight face then smiled at me.

...

I was in athletics I was tying my shoe when I felt someone come up to me I looked up and it was Aaliyah. "Are you my Bestfriend or that bitch that need her ass whooped ?" I chuckled and stood up.

"Your Bestfriend." She smiled and gave me a hug.

"I missed you."

"I missed you too." She pulled back and looked at me.

"I heard you going back to your old self." Damn things travel fast I'm this school.

"Yeah I re-took Ms.Johnson test and got back on the Track Team."

"See this is my Bestfriend not that girl from yesterday. " She smiled. I laughed

"I even made up with my parents." She looked at me shocked.

"You serous ?"

"I'm dead serious and me and Chris coo' again."

"This some good ass news." I smile and then my mind went to something else. "He good." I looked at her confused. "I saw the look on your face." I nodded and we went outside to the coach , Now all the weight is off my shoulders and I feel better.
