I was walking in the hallway and I heard someone following behind me I turned around and it was somebody I didn't expect to see her follow me."What girl ?" She looked at me.

"I was just trying to make sure you was okay since you just stormed out through cafeteria. " I just bit my lip and sighed annoyed.

"Why you worried ?" I asked and she looked at me like 'Really'.

"What's your problem ?" I just shook my head and looked at her. She looked like she had something to tell me.

"What ?" I asked. She looked at me confused.

"What ?"

"What you gotta tell me cause I know you ain't chase me all the way out the cafeteria just to see if I was okay." I said. She bit her lip and hesitated.

"Travis I.. " She trailed off she started to breath slowly like she was debating in her head if she should say it. "Look Travis I li-" The bell rung cutting her off and she sighed and started walking away but she looked at me and I shook my head at her and just walked away.

I was at the trap getting high with Tyree when he came out of nowhere talking about a banquet. "You should come ?" He suggested.

"What is a banquet ?"

"For the volleyball players and football players to get a award. "

"No." I took a hit and he smacked his lips.

"I'm gon' be there with Aaliyah and I'm pretty sure she gon' be with her friends and Ima be there looking single. "

"Then don't go. " It's simple.

"Aaliyah making me go. "

"Oh well then. " I shrugged.

"Just come Damn. Kerra gon' be there. "

I ain't say nothing at first I just sat there thinking ."So." I finally said. He looked at me and smiled

"I know you like her so just come."

"No." I took another hit and let the smoke come out my nose "And ain't her boyfriend gon be there ? "

"So fuck that nigga." I chuckled at him and just shook my head.

"We'll see. " I said. He half smiled and took a hit and started talking about how hungry he is.

I can't believe I let him talk me into coming to this banquet, Shit was boring as fuck and the food was nasty as fuck. I just stood on the wall when Kerra and I think her Mom walked in She glanced at me but quickly back at her Mom as she was saying something. "Stop frowning sweetie that doesn't look cute. " Her mom said fixing Kerra clothes.

"Ok. "

"I'm pretty sure Chris doesn't like when you frown so smile for him." Kerra just gave her a forced smile.

"That's better." She smiled at her "You know one day you gon' marry Chris and have his kids." The Fuck ?

"Mom-"

"There's Chris." Her mom said "Go " She pushed him towards him I looked at them confused.

I saw her force a smile at him and give him a kiss I looked over at her Mom and she was smiling at them. I just walked in through cafeteria to find Tyree looking lonely. "Where Liyah ?"

"Like I said she went with her friends. " He took a bite out his food

"I guess. " Then kerra walked past us she looked at me from through corner of her eye and kept walking with her boyfriend.

"There go yo' girl ?" Tyree said nodding his head her direction.

I nodded and took out my phone and started playing candy crush. The ceremony was finally over but I had to Wait for Tyree cause his ass wanna be caked up right now knowing I wanna go home with his bitch ass. "Kerra this Saturday your going to Chris house for a dinner with his parents ?" I looked over and saw her talking to a man I'm guessing her Dad.

"But Dad-"

"Kerra it wasn't a question I'm telling you that your going no buts about it ." He looked at her with a straight face the whole time.

"Fine. " She said softly while looking down then back up and they started walking out.

"You ready ?" His ass finally came out.

"Yeah ,I been waiting on yo' bitch ass. " I started walking out and he was behind me

"Damn I had to tell bae bye first." Her laughed.

"For what cause y'all about to get otp as soon as she get home anyway." He started laughing.

We was in the car talking when I decided to tell him about Kerra ."Wait so she had no say in here going to Chris house to eat dinner ? "

"Nope."

"Well if you ask me. " He stoped at the red light and looked at me "They controlling her."

"What make you say that ?"

"Think about it You said her Mom was talking about how she was gon' marry Chris and have his kids so basically she telling Kerra that she gon' be with him no matter what happens and her Dad forcing her to go somewhere I'm pretty sure she don't wanna go to."

I nodded my head cause it made since when you thought about it."So that means-"

"They forcing her to date Chris."
