"There some are people in your life that make you laugh a little louder, smile a little bigger and live just a little bit better."

Usagi woke up a day before we got back to the Leaf and as I said, I broke the news to her. Needless to say, she took it better than I thought. Well, what she showed anyway. She was calm and stared at the ground the whole time, I can only imagine how she was feeling on the inside. When we explained to her that we were bringing her to the Leaf, she seemed to lighten up for a split second. Suzu talked with the Hokage and he agreed to let her stay in the village, understanding her situation. Wasn't too sure exactly where she was staying though...

That was a few weeks ago and we are now in June. When we got back Haru and Mamoru immediately brought me to the hospital to get my hand checked out. Apparently, the bone in my wrist was snapped which is why my arm was bent out of shape. The doctor said that the sling helped heal it but they gave me a calcium pill and set my bone straight- rather painfully might I add- then they healed my bone back together with medical jutsu.

Today was the worst day of the year for me. My birthday. Well, it would be the worst day if I was still living with Wendy and Eddie. Now, it'd hopefully be a normal day where I can just relax seeing as no one here knows about my birthday. I can spend it in peace for the first time.

I lay sprawled out across the couch, relieved I can actually lay on something other than dirt and sand. Man, was it good to be back!

I pushed myself up deciding to treat myself to a birthday breakfast. Feeling in a unusually giddy mood, I bounded over to the fridge only to find it almost empty except for some milk and rice. I sweatdropped at the sight. Really, Kakashi? You couldn't have gone food shopping while I was gone...

"Hungry, My Lady?" Mamoru suddenly questioned behind me, making me jump in fright and slam the fridge shut.

"Shit Mamoru, can you not just pop outta nowhere?" I laughed.

He chuckled nervously, scratching his black hair. "Sorry."

I shook my head dismissively. "It's fine." I walked back to my room and changed out of my pajamas into something more comfortable. I slipped into my black shorts and a grey loose sleeveless shirt that had a hoodie on it. I exited the room to see Mamoru leaning on the wall drinking a glass of milk, making me grin at the sight. "The kitty enjoying his morning milk?"

He spluttered into his glass, spilling milk on his chin. He put the glass down and wiped his chin, glaring at me. "Very funny, Lady Rinai."

"Well, come on. We're going out to eat." I laughed, going to the door of the apartment.

Mamoru and I walked through the streets of Konoha, chatting aimlessly and taking in the sights of the village. It was actually pretty nice, I never really took the time to see how peaceful it was here. Comfortable I know, but I hadn't realized it was peaceful.

"So, My Lady, what are you feeling?" Mamoru suddenly asked.

"What?"

"What kind of food are you feeling for?" He rephrased.

I made an 'O' with my mouth before contemplating my answer. "Hmm... Dumplings... No! Meat. Mmm~" I hummed happily at the thought of the juicy barbecued meat. "Maybe some Rosu... Or short ribs... beef tongue... Oh, or tontoro! Hmm pork~" My mouth watered at my delicious thoughts. I grabbed Mamoru's hand and dragged him behind me towards Yakiniku Q to get our grub on. "Let's go!"

While I was speeding there trying to get to my wonderful meat and Mamoru was stumbling over his own feet trying to keep up with me, someone grabbed my other arm and immediately stopped me in my tracks making Mamoru bump into my back. I turned to see a certain ravenette there with a raised brow. "Where are you rushing off to?"
