"...promise me you won't forget me."
"i won't tendou."but you did.
you forgot.
that red headed monster you left at the train station never forgot about you.
too bad you couldn't return the favor.
you only remembered one thing, and that was the bouquet of red roses he gave you.
it was hard to forget that.
you chose not to remember anything else.
the fact was that you did remember about the little boy, while the memories were painful, you chose to keep them although a part of you told you to discard of them right away. you couldn't do that.
you loved him.
it's been so long, since you came back to miyagi.
for the past years, you've been living in tokyo with your grandparents.
after stepping off the train, a blast of cool air hit you, not the suffocating city air from tokyo.
though it was only suffocating because you made it that way.
the train station hasn't changed a bit. the only thing missing was the red haired monster with tearful eyes, holding out a small bouquet of flowers.
tendou satori.
the outcast.
you were only 7 when you met him.
"monsters don't play on human teams." the boys taunted the redhead.
his eyes cast down, a single tear slipping his eye.
"he isn't a monster!" a voice yells. that voice was you.
you grumbled and grabbed the boy's hand.
"if you call him a monster, then you would be worse! y-you'd be a shark or something!" you screamed, the boys threw you a ball.
"i bet you can't even play volleyball, girl."
you frown, tears springing to your face.
"only monsters defend other monsters! you are a monster too!"
"shut up!" you scream, running towards them, tackling them.
"get off of me!"
"hey!" you turn around and see the redhead boy. "f-fighting isn't the answer." he says in a small voice.
"but-"
"it's okay if they don't want to play with me, i'll play by myself." he says, grabbing a volleyball. you get up, and send him a small smile.
"i'll play with you." you say, walking over to him and grabbing his hand and pulling him away.
"r-really?"
"yeah! my name is (name), what's yours?" you smile at him and he blushes.
"t-tendou satori."
ever since then, you two have been inseparable.
until you left for tokyo.
"tendou...i'm leaving."
"f-for how long?"
"for a long time, probably until my third year in high school."
