3/10: reunion

"um semi, shouldn't you put your phone away." you ask him and he looks up.

"uh yeah sorry, i'm just talking to the team." he says. you nod, turning around.

you suddenly hear a click of a camera and you turn around and semi stares at you blankly.

"did you just take a picture?"

"no."

"but i just heard-"

"you didn't hear anything." semi insists. you sigh and turn back around.

[swan groupchat]

mama swan: she almost caught me.

monster guesser: sTOP TAKING PICTURES OF HER PRESERVE THE ART.

the bell rang and you picked up your books, and semi offered to walk you to the gym and you happily accept.

"so do you have any history with a guy?" semi asks. you raise an eyebrow.

"well, i haven't had a boyfriend yet."

"why?"

"ah, just waiting for the right person." you chuckle nervously and scratch your neck. semi nods his head.

"i'm sure you'll meet him soon enough." he says, stopping at the front of the very same gym you peeked through yesterday.

you hear the balls slapping the ground and you unconsciously smile.

at the other side of this wall was your childhood friend.

the person you've waited for a long time to see again.

suddenly, you felt like throwing up. you were incredibly nervous.

"you coming?" semi calls. you gulp and nod and walk into the gym.

all motion stops as all the boys turn to look at you.

the balls slowly bounce to a stop.

everything happens in slow motion.

but the only thing you see are the round eyes of the monster.

it really is her.

she was amazingly beautiful.

i knew it was her. it had to be.

she was just as shirabu described her, except he left out the fact of how beautiful she had become.

she still looked the same.

the way she looked at me, still sent sparks flying from all around me.

a small smile slowly spreads across her lips as her eyes fill with tears.

i run up to her, not wanting to spend anymore time away from her.

i envelope her into a hug and she immediately hugs me back, her warm tears landing on my shirt.
