you wake up with a jolt, your emotions from last night flooding into your memories. you turn your head to read the clock.

6:34 a.m.

you sigh and reach over to grab your phone and see that there's 11 missed calls from akaashi. you call him back and put the phone to your ear.

"hello?"

"hey akaashi it's me... did i wake you up?"

"no, not at all. i couldn't sleep after i saw your messages. did you get some rest?"

"a little." you sigh. the other end of the phone stays silent for a bit.

"y/n... do you want to come back? you can catch a train early this morning and we can enroll you in Fukurōdani tomorrow?"

you stop breathing for a second. sure you were mad at tendou, but was that reason enough to leave?

"i don't know akaashi."

"that's okay. how about you come visit first?"

you hold your breath and look around the apartment. a frown forms on your face. you only came back for tendou. if he doesn't want you here, then what are you still doing here?

"y/n? everything okay? you're really quiet."

"you know what? i am going to leave."

you look around the apartment. you were able to pack up all your clothes really quickly into a large duffel bag. you were glad the apartment came fully furnished, so you don't have to worry about bringing anything bulky with you.

you glance at the clock.

8:26 a.m.

akaashi was able to pull up a train schedule and told you to try to catch the 10:00 a.m. train.

you grab another duffel bag from your closet and walk around your apartment, putting all of your decorations into it.

you sigh and stand at the door way of your now empty apartment.

why didn't tendou call?

you shake the thought out of your head as quickly as you could. you didn't want to start crying again. you always feel so weak when you cry. you mentally punch yourself.

"am i doing the right thing?" you ask yourself out loud.

probably.

your stomach rumbles. you wince, feeling nauseated at the thought of eating anything. you figured you should at least make something quickly.

you decide to quickly run to the market right by your apartment. you walk out of the apartment building, and you're hit with muggy humid air. fog was laying low on the ground, matching your mood perfectly.

you quickly talk to the market owner and politely let him know that you can't work weekends with him anymore. you explain the situation and he accepts sadly.

you briskly walk around the market looking for snacks, and you grab a couple of granola bars for the train ride. you rack your brain for food ideas for breakfast.

pancakes? no. tendou likes pancakes. eggs? no.... tendou likes eggs. cereal? no.... is there any type of food that tendou doesn't like?

you sigh and grab a cup of yogurt, before rushing to check out.
