you step on the train, beginning to sweat with regret.

the train attendant looks at you and at the ticket in your hand.

"ticket please?" he asks, and you hand it over. he scans the ticket ready to punch it, but pauses. "you're going to tokyo?"

you nod, slightly confused.

the attendant chuckles and hands you back your ticket.

"you were about to get on the wrong train. the train to tokyo is at 10:30." he states.

you mentally hit yourself as you look at your ticket.

september 13 2020
10:30 a.m. train to tokyo.

your cheeks turn red at the embarrassment.

"i am so sorry." you say, bowing down your head. he gives you a curt nod as you step off the train.

you return to the bench to watch the last passengers get on the train.

suddenly, someone yelling breaks the silence in the train. you turn your head in the direction of the noise.

through the fog, you can barely make out a bright red bike and a bunch of red hair.

you begin to pay attention to what the mysterious man is yelling about.

"wait! y/n!"

your heart jumps at the sound of your name.

is that who i think it is?

your eyes snap to the last lady stepping on the train.

does he think that's me?

"y/n please! don't get on the train!"

what an idiot. he thinks that girl is me.

as tendou stumbles onto the platform, the trains whistle blows loudly and the wheels screech as the train begins to depart from the station.

tendou's face immediately drops as he finally comes to a stop right in front of you. he hasn't noticed you on the platform yet.

you start to feel the pent up anger bubble up, but as you stare at his face, regret replaces your anger. you watch silently as tendou's eyes fill with tears as he watched the train pull away.

your throat is dry as you try to sound monotone. however, that fails as you say his name out loud.

"tendou you came?"

the moment feels like a dream. it's almost like something you saw out of a movie. the fact that tendou chased after you, that he finally showed feelings towards you. you've been waiting for this moment.

you watch tendou's head slowly turn around. his big eyes catch yours and a blush spreads across his cheeks. you bite your cheek to not smile at how cute he's being, especially since you don't know why he's here.

"y/n?" he gasps. you snort and roll your eyes.

"in the flesh." you say, sarcastically. he seems relieved to see you, making it harder for you to stay upset at him. so you cross your arms in an attempt to make you look unhappy.
